Today, many of the “mainstream” blogs carried stories about Queen Latifah denying her rumored nuptials to girlfriend Jeanette. I’ve noticed a few of the blogs confusing pictures of this other woman Latifah has been photographed with frequently, for Jeanette. They are not the same woman - they don’t even remotely resemble each other. One is dark and the other is light.
I see Latifah with this other woman as often as I see her with Jeanette. It does beg the question who is she? You know what they say about women who walk their dogs together? Is the Queen a playa and is she 2-timing Jeanette? Click the image to see a better photo.

I’ve always read that she is a playa. I’ve heard stories of her going out to the club surrounded by a bevy of beauties like any male celeb in her position. I don’t know how true it is, but it’s out there. I ain’t mad at her.

Has Queen Latifah OFFICIALLY said that she is gay? For some reason I’m having a hard to believing that she’s gay. I don’t know why. I guess it’s just the irony in thinking that if she is gay, she fits the typical “butch” model in the gay community. At least it appears that way outside the camera, red carpet, and T.V.
How come these women can’t just be friends? It’s plausible. If she is gay, it’s sad to see that she’s spending her whole life in denial. Afterall she has this “real” kind of demeanor. Not one I would think to be ashamed of herself.
This is funny. I think now stars can’t even go out with friends without people throwing them in relationships. Oh well…I don’t give a damn…as long as she ain’t with Nelly:)!!!

^^^^If Nelly ONLY new..I happen to believe she is gay..but it doesn’t shake who she is..gay or not..she has always been regal and that’s what counts in the long run
I know I remember reading when they broke up that one time that Jeanette was threating to come out with the real truth about their relationship.
I have a hard time believing she is gay… maybe they are close friends(wishful thinking)
The other young lady with Latifah is her assistant. There was a special on Queen Latifah when she was nominated for her Oscar and they interviewed her and she talked about her role in Camp Tifah… she handles her scheduling, walks her dogs etc… Queen should just come all the way out the closet. We all know she is How you doing?
I KNOW she is gay. Several years ago, I went to a club with a friend who is a lesbian in LA called Peanuts, and on Tuesday nights it is “girls night”. All the girls & their girls attend. No men only, unless your a celebrity or you know someone. Anyway, there were PLENTY of celebrity women there with their partner, Latifah included. And Latifah had on of the baddest chicks there. And it wasn’t Jeanette. There were a few others that completely blew me away! After actually being there and seeing it for myself (not reading it on some blog sight),
I have no doubt about her, and a few others that people seem to question.
@ toy..yea, i have heard that she makes it rain at peanuts. i heard that from patrons and dancers. whatever the case, she’s never denied being gay and it doesn’t matter. it doesn’t change my respect for her as an artist. she’s accomplished alot and she should be proud. people just want her to come out to be noisy, not for concern of her mental well being.
FYI, for the record, the brown sister isn’t Latifah’s type. that’s her assistant. if you ever do a little research, you’ll notice right away the difference between her “crew” and her actual girlfriends. i knew Dana before she became Latifah and she was another same gender loving sister so i know firsthand. nothing wrong with that. the industry is tough especially hiphop so even though she keeps it real she ain’t trying to lose all she built just to tell everyone who her love choices are. i hope she can come out soon for her own sake though. she’s not 20 something anymore and when you get to 40, its time to be in your truth so you don’t have to live with having hidden your life.
I really don’t want to believe it but it seems as if ever since she played Cleo in Set it off everyone wants to label her as that so who knows I think Queen is doing her thing & has made her mark so if she is with that lady in the pic then thats her business!! I wish they had never taken her talk show off I really liked it!!
