I ran into Sean Combs‘ baby mama Sarah Chapman last night at the well-attended AG Entertainment Christmas party at Luckie Restaurant & Lounge. Every time I see Sarah I ask her to show me a picture of her daughter Chance Chapman Combs. She always says she doesn’t have a picture - but last night was different.
Sarah put her drink down and reached into her Chanel purse. I watched her intently as she rooted around in her purse searching for the pic only to come up empty handed.
“Wrong purse,” she said with a smile. “I don’t have her picture in this purse.” I couldn’t believe it. Don’t women normally switch everything from one purse to the other? “Could you email me a small pic?” I begged. “Are you going to put it on your site?” she asked. I paused because I had to think about that one. “You don’t realize how big your site is, Sandra. I don’t want my baby on the Internet like that,” she said with a wide grin.
Sarah noted the lack of amusement on my face and she told me everyone would see Chance soon enough: Chance is signed with 2 modeling agencies and she recently sat for a professional modeling shoot. “She had professional photos taken,” said Sarah, “I’ll make sure you get one first,” she promised.
So I had to put it out there. Not to put pressure on Sarah, but just so she doesn’t forget. My readers love you and Chance, Sarah.

Do we love her Sandra? Really? I din’t know that, thanks for informing me. Personally, I don’t think that she should put her childs picture out there. Its not any of our business what she looks like. Her mother is pretty and her daddy is handsome, I’m sure she’s gorgeous. But for the crazy folk out there, I would not do it. I think more stars should keep there children a little more shielded.

I not sure of the “importance” of stating that she had a Chanel purse, but it’s constantly stated that someone is wearing the clothes of one designer or another without anyone asking why it’s important, so why is it different with designer purses?

Saying “Chanel purse” or “Baby Phat jeans” for example, just gives you more of a visual into how they looked or into the subject’s style. Writers do that…create the scene so you can visualize/imagine better as if you were there.
Anyway i TOTALLY understand why she (Sarah) doesn’t want her baby out there on the internet. That’s her choice. I’ve seen Sarah several times here in Atlanta. She’s very nice and sorta low key, not overly flashy.
These celebs are sure nice to you Sandra even when you say mean things about them on this site. I guess instead of taking it personal they just smile in your face and deal with it with others.

I don’t believe this woman’s primary motivation is trying to protect the privacy of her child, I think she’s trying to have her child premiere on a bigger world stage than your blog; but then again I don’t know her so I could be wrong. I don’t know why she wants to push that child into the “modeling” industry so early, I mean see where it got her and Kim… professional baby mama is not something she should want her child known for.
Anyways Sandra, next time you run into her, can you please ask her to verify if her and Kim were working for the same … “model agency/scout” when they met Sean Combs?

Sarah looks to have beautiful features and if Chance looks like her mother I bet she is worthy of a HUGE premiere when we do see her!!!I am uncertain as to why Sandra mentioned her Chanel purse but I guess we can chalk it up as you were facinated or never seen a Chanel bag in person? At any rate, if Sarah doesnt want people to have photo’s of her child for non professional reason then that’s her right. Lets not forget that Tisha and Dewayne Martin did the same thing and I have YET to see there son! Celebrity babies are in more danger than ‘normal’ children and she probably is very proud of her daughter but is very cautious as to whom she shares her with! People are crazy and say very hateful things.

I don’t need a visual on her Chanel purse and she is not a celeb and Sandra is a nurse/blogger/photographer not a journalist.
The initial breaking story was cool as hell, but if I never hear the name Sarah Chapman again I’m gonna be alright. All Diddy’s baby mamas can’t be stars like Kim.
I wouldn’t want a child I cared about to be a part of someone’s blog, or any other site, just for people’s curiousity.
Also, who cares about Diddy or ANY of his 20 baby mamas?? It will be news when he says he DIDN’T get someone pregnant.
If she was that important as Diddy’s Baby Momma, she would be sweated by paparazzi, thus there would have been some candids out there somwhere of her and the baby, and they would have popped up a long time ago. I am very disappointed in you. I don’t know what happened between you and Kim Porter. It really doesn’t matter. You were once a public supporter of Kim, now you seem to be sweating Sarah. Again, I don’t know, nor do I care, what went down with you and Kim. However, if you support someone and something goes down, I believe you should keep quiet and keep it moving. Loyalty is very important!!! Remember what goes around comes around.

I don’t know… Maybe Sandra was being sarcastic when she said that her “readers love Sarah and Chance.” Personally, I wouldn’t put myself out there letting everyone know that Diddy fathers my kids. God he’s the most gayest, ugly, and arrogant person in the industry. I can’t put into words how digusting the guy is. People act like having a baby by him is something to be bragging about, pfft.

I didn’t know I loved Sarah and her daughter. I don’t know Kim or Sarah, but having unprotected sex with Sean is dangerous. You can have the illest clothes, bling, and his babies, but none of that can get rid of the knowing you’re not special, knowing he will never be faithful to you, or having an STD or HIV sneak up on you in a few years. Think about it Sarah and Kim, yall pretty much slept together, because whoever you sleep with unprotected you’re sleeping with who that person slept with, and on and on and on. Sarah you slept with Al B. Sure! LOL
So at least 4 or 5 different people have said they understand/support her not wanting photos of her child on the internet. So then can you explain why a person who doesn’t want the photos on the internet will sign with not 1 but 2 modeling agencices? Is the function of modeling agencies to keep photos private and never let them be seen by the public? Is there a lack of basic common sense? If you want photos kept private and off the internet why go to 2 modeling agencies whose sole function is to make photos public?
I think with the modeling agency we see the pictures but they don’t post the name of the child. I am happy she doesn’t want to post the baby’s picture on the internet. Maybe she should do a interview with essence and give sandrarose.com the exclusinve to post the pictures and the interview.
Once the “modeling” pictures are released it will not take long to discover the pictures are of Chance. Every blogger and his mother will be posting those pictures on their site. Nice try, but it still doesn’t make sense to say you don’t want your child’s picture on the internet and then sign her to a modeling contract. Also, there are professional modeling shots that list the model’s name.
