Chris Stokes fires back

Chris Stokes’s attorneys wasted no time issuing cease & desist letters to blogs and media outlets posting the videos featuring former B2K member Raz B and his brother Ricky Romance making accusations of molestation against Stokes. Stokes’ attorney described the videos as scenes from B2K’s reality show.
According to attorney Tabetha Plummer, The Plummer Law Group represents Stokes, Omarion, Marques Houston and Jerome Jones in a possible lawsuit against former B2K members Raz B, Lil’ Fizz and J Boog who are currently filming a reality show.
The cease & desist letter was emailed late yesterday (12/24) to media outlets and blogs after Stokes released a statement through his publicist “vehemently” denying the allegations. Here’s an excerpt from the letter:
In the video entitled B2K Rape/Orgy Allegations by Raz-B – Part 2, Mr. Ricky Romance has, without the required consent of Mr. Stokes recorded their telephone conversation. California law prohibits telephone monitoring or recording, including the use of information obtained through interception unless all parties to the conversation consent (California Penal Code Sections 631 & 632).Violation is punishable by a fine of up to $2,500, imprisonment for not more than one year, or both. As such, please remove this video. All of the foregoing places my client in a false light and is damaging to his reputation. The statements are malicious and made solely for the purpose of injuring my client’s reputation in the entertainment industry and for the personal gain of these former B2K group members.
Mr. Stokes and Mr. Houston noticed that in one of the videos, Mr. Ricky Romance is wearing a shirt which prominently displays the words “LIKE DEATH.” In addition to some of his statements, Mr. Stokes and Mr. Houston perceive this message as a threat against their personal safety.

Just to point out another dumb thing about Chris Stokes letter, if this is about a reality show, then he knows damn well they can’t play his conversation w/o getting permission.
So, yeah, the part uploaded and posted on the internet is not for this “reality show”. Producers of actual television shows no the rules.

Chris might be shooting himself in the foot here. The Ricky Romance video shows him in the most positive light. It’s Raz B’s allegations that are killing him right now. I’m sure he’s working overtime to get Marques’ family to issue a cease and desist order on the Raz B video. Hopefully they are asking for every penny he has to do it.
The exposure of a pedophile is a wonderful Christmas gift indeed. Maybe his sons will be safe for a few days at least.

Depending on the state and if the legal authorities have wind of this situation, don’t the police or DA’s office have to investigate at least the allegations? Especially with this man having his own kids?

Once again these boys are attempting to get a few dollars in there pocket!! & isn’t Raz-B suppose to be related to Chris some sort of way!! to be honest this may be a publicity stunt cause who the hell cares about any of these dudes 4real ok maybe Omarion & Marques matter these days but the rest of these dudes need a paycheck so they will attempt to do anything making themselves stupid in the process!!!

That was not a formal c&d letter. A formal c&d would not be e-mailed, it would be written, signed and mailed certified. It was a simple request asking the video be removed BEFORE any further legal action is taken, whilst listing the codes that were broken (woo-wee so what). My husband is an attorney, and any REAL attorney would not handle bull**** legal matters in a bull**** fashion. Chris is busted and trying to cover his ass – TOO LATE!
WOW..this is a lot. I am seriously on the fence with this one. If Raz B and the others are victims , i feel sorry for them. Child molestation is a seriously crime and the victims has after affects that last a lifetime. There has been rumors about Chris Stokes for years, as there has been about other managers of boy bands. But if this is not true,and this is all about promotion and making money that is sick.And he needs some mental help. I am reading that the LAPD is investigating which is good, hopefully the truth will prevail and when it does we will know who is the sick person is.
Chris and Raz are cousins…which makes it even more sick, that’s like molesting your brother… And they got his nasty ass on video saying that he doesn’t do that anymore…and how in the hell can this be a publicity stunt? If I was a man this would be the last thing I would do to get attention…it’s embarrassing to the core, male or female! Chris is guilty but above all, he’s a nasty MF.

All I hear is a bunch of spin and attempts to muddy the water with unrelated accusations. The fact of the matter is… either these two boys were molested or not. Sandra I really wish you would keep your focus on that question!
I understand you have the opinion that Raz-B is a manipulator. But the question that I can’t answer is: Why would a young man go on youtube to lie about being raped and molested? Especially in today’s music climate where black entertainers are constantly being accused of being gay??? What exactly would he stand to gain by making these accusations up?
Chris Stokes has an obvious reason to lie… to stay out of jail! But what exactly is Raz-B’s reason to lie? Talk to me Sandra and the SandraRose.com community!
All I have to say is…remember that photo where those boys of either “Immature” or “B2K” laying up all on the bed with eachother with only their boxers on? When I first saw the pic, I felt sick to my stomach. Something just didn’t sit right with me and from what I remember, I think Chris Stokes was the one who told them to pose like that.
