Congratulations are in order for the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul, Mary J. Blige whose brand new album GROWING PAINS lands at #1 on the Billboard R&B charts scanning an impressive 629,000 units.
She came in at #2 on Billboard’s Top 200 Albums chart. (Source)

congrats to miss mary . i love her new album.these younger artists need to take notes. yeah it’s nice to be hot right now , but 10 years down the line you want to still be around bringing good music. you want to be known for more than one or two albums . longevity is the key .

down. I know there are many people who question her voice/vocals, but even on the drugs I loved her to death!!

I think Mary has always done her thing she overcame all her obstacles & is still shining I agree with MrsDawn I been liking her style since she sang backup a lot of our stars use to be backup singers!!! Tank, Faith etc… BTW whatever happened to Father MC???
