According to a report on Billboard.com, ousted Def Jam president Jay Z did not drop his Roc-A-Fella artists as some have suggested.
“Beans and Freeway didn’t get dropped,” says Beanie Sigel’s manager, Mark Byers. “I just got off the phone with L.A. Reid talking about the next video for ‘Rain’ featuring Raheem DeVaughn that we’re about to release. We’re re-launching Beanie’s project and releasing a ‘Rain’ remix with State Property.”

hey, sandra. just wanted to let you know that i’ll be one of the only two people watching that beanie sigel vide. his last album, the solution, was pretty damn hot. i’m not so sure how i feel about “rain” being the second single. but whatev…it’s not my recording career on the line. if you are or ever have been a beanie fan…i suggest you cop the solution asap.♥

WOW I never knew the defenition of a hater until I came to this site Sandra you don’t give anyone any slack(lol) I had to comment cause how do you figure LA is wasting money first of all do you know who LA Reid is they ain’t never getting rid of him he has done to much & also why is it now everytime we see Jay-Z name in the headline it always has to say something negative pertaining to his departure from Def Jam!! Get over it!! He still paid
I would be watching a Beanie Sigel video too…he’s an excellent rapper and his music before has been amazing. I’m definitely a fan of his.

I like the questions Sandra gave.
First of all, I’m not a fan of Beanie or Freeway. Re-release seems of a waste. Sales must’ve falling off quite a bit for the original album.
I think they (def jam) should’ve ask for a few paychecks back from Jay-Z instead.
LA Reid should bring back R&B then concentrating on low rent rap artist. Also enuff if all of the Ciara’s, Ashanti’s, and get artist who have power behidn their voice.

I’ll personally be watching a Beanie video. I don’t have a problem with them re launching his album. It was promoted right the first time. Beanie has a lot of loyal fans, so I think it will do better the second time around. I’m not really checking for Freeway though.
