Britney involuntarily committed for psych eval

Hold on y’all; it’s almost over. For too long now our senses have been inundated with wall-to-wall Britney Spears news coverage. Most of it is a desperate cry for help by a sick woman. Yesterday, police were called to Britney’s mansion after she reportedly refused to turn over her sons to Kevin Federline‘s bodyguard.

According to TMZ.com, police found Britney “under the influence” and apparently found her son Jayden James in some type of distress.

One intelligent officer on the scene declared Britney a danger to herself and 5150’d her for an emergency psych evaluation against her will. There is also talk of possibly charging Britney (for child neglect?)

Jayden was bundled into an ambulance (along with Britney in a second ambulance) and escorted by 13 police cars with lights flashing and sirens blaring to Cedars Sinai hospital. Was all that really necessary?

Of course the assembled media behaved like a pack of hungry wolves at the sight of the ambulances carrying Britney and her son.

A 5150 means any police officer can deem a person unsafe to himself or others and have that person involuntarily committed. The act is also referred to as a 48 hour hold. Once the 48 hours has passed, a judge must review the case and either order the patient released or held indefinitely. Let’s hope the judge chooses the latter because we all need a break from Britney!

I’m praying this woman finally gets the help she so desperately needs. In the mean time the judge should seriously start considering changing Kevin’s temporary custody to permanent. Brit has been falling apart at the seems for at least 5 years and it’s going to take time to put her back together if that’s even possible.

Who gives a shit. What about the black women who have to do the same exact thing,EVERYDAY! But when they “breakdown”, they are escorted to jail, not in an ambulance, but in the back of a police car, in handcuffs, in front of their kids.

Brittany is old news. I don’t feel sorry for her. Whether she’s seeking attention or not, she is going about it the wrong way. This game of cat and mouse and in and out of court is ridiculous, really.

I’d like to know the full details. What was it? She didn’t want her sons to go? Didn’t want to be seperated from them? So she flips out? Understandable. But at the same time, she’s pumped full of drugs or something and does need some help. God bless her. May she go away now. May the damn papparazi leave her alone for awhile now.

Could you see Tina Knowles allowing this type of crap to go on with her daughters. White people parent differently, and in some situations it works well, but in most it doesn’t. Until Britney makes amends with her mother and starts to respect her, she will end up doing an Anna Nicole Smith. I’m serious. Women need to have good relationships with their Moms. If they don’t, they tend to be miserable train wrecks.

In regards to the 5150, in California, it allows the hospital to put the patient under a 72-hour hold for observation if a person is deemed a danger to themselves and/
or others. I work at Cedars and it was a madhouse last night because of the media. Someone needs to get her some help fast, otherwise she won’t be around to see her kids grow up.

Britney’s problems are because she has allowed herself to let the media into her personal life, which is a no no in the entertainment business.

Here is my top five suggestions in helping her get it together.

1. Hire a chauffer or someone to drive her around and stop driving herself and her children around.
2. Fire all the people around her and get a new team.
3. Get a publicist.
4. Stop talking to the media.
5. Lay very low for about 2-3 years and just work on projects (singing, acting, etc.) and get herself in order.

This was all over the news here in LA last night. I think the police escort is necessary. From what I saw on the news the amount of paparazzi in front of her house made it impossible for the ambulance to get through without the police.

She doesn’t want those kids I don’t know what she’s trippin over. The news reported that yesterday during the day she was supposed to show up for a deposition regarding the custody of the kids. The deposition only lasted 15 minutes because she was 2 hours late. I mean come the hell on. She doesn’t want those boys for real. She’s allowed her life to get waaaay to far out of control and now there is just no coming back.

I think she’s going to end up dead soon by her own hands.

ok Britney is the one at fault here..she fired EVERY person on her team, who kept her sane..she PICKED Kevin..she knew about Shar being pregnant..let’s not forget the same year she married Kevin she had already married her ‘homeboy’ from Kentwood in a quickie Vegas wedding which was anulled in 2 days..she is the one who gives the paparazzi the fuel to keep burning..ie..driving around aimlessy, stopping at random gas stations, staying at hotels 5 fays out of the week..her behavior has been erratic for the LAST 365 days..she wanted to rebel and she did..she does not REALLY want her children..defying court orders and partying THE VERY NIGHT THEY HAND YOUR EX-HUSBAND PRIMARY PHYSICAL CUSTODY AND AWARD YOU VISITATION..ok i know too much about this..anyways Britney is in a great place..stay there and get well!

I just saw this story on CNN an hour ago. Personally, I don’t know what to say about this mess. A part of me wants to feel sorry for her, then again, I don’t know whether or not if Britney is just full of herself (playing mind games). In all, I think the media has really gotten ahold of her. She is surrounded by the paparazzi 24 hrs a day/ 7 days a week. Just about anyone and everyone that she trusted and love has been booted out of her life. Even her own attorneys don’t trust her. I think Cali did the right thing by placing her under psych evaluation. The child needs help. For goodness sake, the girl isn’t even on good terms with her mom, and to me, that’s the #1 person who needs to be with her right about now. Even though they have an estranged relationship, her mother really needs to reach out and touch her. Cuz the girl life is hanging by a THREAD!!!!!!!!

It really upsests me that people blame k-fed for britneys failure. The fact of the matter is, britney’s a grown ass woman, and k-fed didn’t have to force her to become the LOSER she has become, and if u ask me, it wasn’t when she married k-fed that made her the mess that she is…. it was when she married that guy in Vegas. That is the first foolish thing the “pop tart” did. Everyone talks down about k-fed, but he seems to be doing 100 times better than his “famous” baby mama. Oh! and karma is a bitch !!!!
