@Areuforreal. Ok next time I will send you my email so you can send me the cliff notes on this long as post.

Anyways. Its nothing wrong with your opinion. everybody has one about everything and everyone, hell I know I have people that have their opinion about me. But I don't give fluck what anybody thinks about me or how they feel. If they do it in public than they should be able to take it. The point I was simply making is when somebody has a problem with Oprah spending 30 million of her 2.5 billion on her dogs (which is like sales tax to her) than lets call out the bigger dummies that literally throw money away just so they can look like a "baller" in front of a bunch of people that don't give a shnit if you get hit by lighting in the next 3 seconds. I got my opinions to and I know some people don't like them either. I am all for freedom of expression, but if you express yourself about me too much I might have to kill you

@ ggouch and dblaq:

Since you continue to try to play my intelligence by implying that I am uninformed, and that I am unable of comprehending what you have written, I decided to break down my response to your statements. It's funny how my statement about Oprah received more of a response than my comments about Obama. Like she's the candidate! HA! I'm not into internet arguements, so this will be my last post to this thread. Feel free to respond anyway if you choose to. ;O)

dblaq please read down for my response to your comment.

ggouch Says:

I would bet, my “barely above the poverty line” checks: If Oprah sent “AReUForREAL” a $30-million check for being “REAL”: you would not return it, with a note attached reading “Dear Oprah, This could have gone to a much better place”…be for real before you comment on that too.

___________________________________________________________

Your damn right I would keep her check and do all the things I have been wanting to do for the needy in this country for soooooo long. I don't have a reason to fake about that at all. And, if you knew me and were judging by more than one statement on a blog you would know that already. And, I never called myself being "REAL" about anything. My screen name is actually posed as a question, but due to character restrictions I was unable to add a question mark. ;o)

___________________________________________________________

ggouch Says:

in the midst of it all, it sounds like “I am a very educated woman” got a little sensitive. Did you feel personally attacked or something…I am not sure if you read my post or just scanned it. Please re-read: I was not challenging your right to “DO YOU”

PREVIOUS STATEMENT

ggouch Says:
AreUforReal, I hope the above statement was after some true research. I note: you didn’t mention who you are for. Therefore it sounds like your opinion is a regurgitation of gossip and tabloid hearsay.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
Now if this is not a personal attack on my intelligence then what it is. You assume because I didn't state who I'm voting for that my opinions are based on hearsay as if I'm not intelligent enough to do my own research on ALL the candidates, not just the Democratic, and make an informed decision. If your not attacking me personally then don't direct statements like this directly towards me.

ggouch Says:

Your words lead me to think you took it personal…and that with all the good Oprah does, the thing you can’t forget is that she is leaving money to the care of her dogs…..

I am not on a secrete response team recruiting Oprah fans. I was just pointing out that it is her right to give what and to whom she chooses. And that as educated women, when we point out something so simplistic as Oprah leaving money to her animals, perhaps it should not stop there.

@dblaq Says:

Also that 30 Million is her money,if she chooses to make it rain on these ****es that is her choice.

I don’t hear anybody saying **** when these dummies make it rain in every damn club they go to. That money can probably buy one of their kids some school clothes or health insurance. Instead of throwing it on some nasty punnany in the strip club especially these chicks won’t think twice of the rain maker.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

Again if it's out there for public scrutiny I have a right to my opinion. And, in my opinion $30 million dollars to her dogs is ridiculous. I could understand if it was to the humane society, or something, but for 6-8 dogs! Come on now. There are a few things that bother me about Oprah, and no I don't feel the need to elaborate on what those things are to you. Just because she is an African- American woman with power does not mean that I have to be apart of her support squad.

And, as far as Oprah being an educated woman. I have never attacked her intelligence. I think that she is a beautiful, intelligent, inspirational woman. With that being said I am still entitled to my opinion of the things that are presented to me about her through the media. It may seem "hater-ish" to you, but what "hater-ish" to me is your attack on my personal opinion.

dblaq I completely agree with the second part of your statement. I am always talking about how these rapper and entertainers are quick to yell how much they love their "hood", but don't take the time to help their communities. If they put half of what they spend on jewelry and entertainment into community based programs they could make a world of difference. Look at the programs that entertainers like David Banner have started. He goes back to his block on a regular basis giving children cloths and food, and encouraging them to be better and strive for greatness. I commend people like that. People that take a hands on approach to the problem instead on pointing the finger and chastising.
