Who is Teyana Taylor?
The lyrics to newcomer Teyana Taylor’s new single goes:

Well, actually I never heard of the Lori Ann Gibson look-a-like until today while I was browsing other blogs. Apparently, Teyana Taylor is a protege of super producer Pharrell Williams. And while she can definitely sing, her single “Google Me” is very average.
Teyana and some of her friends including producer Jazze Pha, Omarion and Polow Da Don filmed a video for her first single “Google Me” in Brooklyn. With all that star power behind her, average single or not, you’ll be hearing a lot more from this hottie.

She seems like a cool kid. She was actually featured on Sweet 16 on MTV.
She also had her birthday part featured on my Super Sweet 16.
I seen her some where before, I can’t remeber where though?
She was on an episode of “My Super Sweet 16″. She got a Range Rover, though she asked for a custom bicycle - which she got. She wasn’t the typical spoiled teen on the show. And yes, I watch it. lol
I’ll have to check her single. She’s a little alternative, but anyone without a lace-front wig and a coochie/booty/boob baring dress and talking about their “singing” talent while laying spread-eagle on a hood of a car is definitely worth checking out.

She was one the Super Sweet 16 kids on MTV Sandra. She actually had the hottest party I’ve seen on there. She has a very unique style and seems to be a very down to earth, creative girl.

Isn’t she actually the daughter of someone in the industry…assuming this based on her appearance on MTV’s Sweet 16? Her mother looked very familiar. However, Teyana stood out to me, because, not only is she a very naturally beautiful young girl, she did not appear to be the cookie cutter type of young girl we are use to seeing on the show.
As a matter of fact the episode I saw was a finale episode I guess. It seemed like Easy-E’s daughter, Erin, was trying to clown her a little bit, because of Teyana’s eclectic choices she made for her party. (But perhaps that is how it was edited)
She seemed grounded, even for the show. I can understand why a mega talent like Pharrell would work with her. I hope to see her blow up.
I’m for anything different in this cookie cutter industry..seems like Pharrell is looking for a Kelis replacement

Sandra for a celebrity blogger you sure claim not to know a bunch of people. This “hottie” (debatable btw) is a dancer, she created the chicken noodle soup dance and has helped choreograph a couple of videos, and she’s getting so much notice because she’s still like 17 or 18 at most.
She was in Jay-Z’s Blue Magic video, too.
Teyana has been all over the internet for a while now.
She was featured on MTV’s “My Super Sweet 16″ last season. She’s a spoiled brat of course. All of the kids who have parties on that show are spoiled rotten.
She’s signed to Pharrell’s “Star Trak” label.

THE MAJORITY ON THE SHOW WERE BRATS, TEYANA CARRIED HERSELF VERY WELL, AND SHE WAS NEVER DISRESPECTFUL TO HER MOTHER. SHE WAS NOT BEING A BRAT ON THE SHOW AT ALL.

I remember that episode of sweet 16 she probably was one of the only girls on that show that wasn’t being disrespectful, & the things she was asking for werent that off the wall pricey like the majority wants cars, she wanted a bike!!! How cute is that, I never knew she was a dancer though so she been out for a good lil while if she did Ring the Alarm & that damn Chicken Noodle Soup(lol) She is definitley the female version of Pharell I think thats why he snatched her before anyone else could!!!

She was not being a brat on that show at all. All she wanted for her birthday was a bike. She’s a beautiful natural young sista. She’s not afraid to be herself and she’s going to BLOW UP. It’s refreshing to see some new flava out here now. Teyanna is a star in the making.
I am feeling this lil girl. She’s showing a little skin without being slutty… Her dances dont consist of crotch shots or having her ass tooted up in the air. Isn’t she Jay-Z’s niece? If you think back to his Hard Knock Life video (i think thats the one), the little girl thats in his video… she looks just like her. Then Teyana, his niece that he is always talking about… Just an observation.

The curls are not hers. She got her hair flat ironed and it almost reached her shoulders. She definately looks better with the curls, she wears them well.
