I dont see what the big deal was, if it was going to be dragged out she shouldnt have pulled his ass on the stage. But of course Sandra praises everything that Rihanna does. The whole thing with Jay translating for her I took it as a joke, but of course you have to drag everything out. Rihanna is not a good artist. She sounded terrible @ the grammys i was exicted to see Morris Day and the group peform until forehead came, she wasn’t even singing it sounded like she was talking the whole time. The only good song she had on her cd was umbrella and it was not because of her singing it was because of th beat. Rihanna should remember that if Jay didnt give her a chance she wouldn’t be ish today

yeah, totallly. I thought the speech thing was really weird. I wondered why he was trying to belittle her like that. She seems like she’s just being natural but he’s all nervous and awkward.

maybe he really does want to smash it, but doesn’t want Beyonce to notice that he wants it.

Sandra and anyone else who felt that Jay Z was wrong…Rihanna was on Access Hollywood today and said that she thought it was fuuny what Jay did during her speech! She said him translating for her is an ongoing joke because of her accent…he teases her about people not always understanding what she’s saying! I don’t know what she was talking to him about when that picture was taken, but I can’t really see her approaching him about something personal in such a public setting…she’s not stupid!

I didn’t and still don’t see the big deal in what Jay Z did! I don’t see the disrespect I see it as a man trying to be funny. He twisted her words around he called himself Jigga Man instead of Jay Z. Sandra keeps spouting this brother/sister relationship that Rihanna and Jay Z have…well there was the evidence. It is being blown out of proportion in my opinion big time.

Sandra how do you know Jay Z was trying to translate for Rhi? I thought he was trying to tell her, don’t ramble, thank the people who gave you the award before they cut you off like they like tend to do ramblers….how do you know he was translating for Rhi? She wasn’t speaking in her native tongue, she has an accent but she wasn’t speaking Creolese or Patwa or any other language that might be her native tongue (And I know I spelled it wrong I’m SO SORRY)….so I don’t get where you are jumping to conclusions?

I don’t see what all the hoopla was about. She was happy to have won a Grammy, and she pulled the man who was responsible for her success onstage with her. Why should she have asked permission from Beyonce to get him onstage? WTF? Beyonce puts her bra on the same way as Rihanna everyday. He didn’t ask Beyonce’s permission when he SIGNED Rihanna to Def Jam. I wish someone would come at me like that, talking about asking permission..They would be promptly and politely checked.

I’ve been reading your blog for a minute, Sandra and I feel like you a LOT of times hate on Jay and Beyonce’ for no reason. I’m not a real fan of Beyonce, but I have loved Jay since day one. However, I still give Beyonce props where props are due, and that’s all there is to it. You may not like someone, but you still have to acknowledge their talent and accomplishments or else you’re not keeping it real with yourself. And that’s the worst, when you don’t keep it real with yourself.
