I just called the number he gave for the Arizona company. You guys should hear the tone that was used in giving the "press statement" about the can cover. My thing is, they could have used any other "southern" image and it would have been tasteful-maybe. But to pick a plantation out of all things southern is truly an insult. In their response, instead of apologizing for there insensitivity, the Arizona rep tries to rationalize it. BOYCOTT ARIZONA!!!!!!NOT JUST THE TEA BUT ALL GOODS THAT COMPANY DISTRIBUTES!!!!!!

I''ll chime in and say I happened to see the can in the fridge at the gas station, and the picture is so little you can barely tell what color any of the people are. But from the little I could see, the lady looked white to me. I hope people weren't dumb enough to call that number lol

Sandra, you should be ashamed of yourself for posting this without checking for yourself!

Okay, I do not post to blogs, but I had to respond. pinky2083 posted a link for the Arizona site. If you look on page 6 this label is shown on the bottle and can product. So, Sandra look look again.

Thank you all for judging for yourselves! This is why I say my readers are the most intelligent in the blogosphere! :) The consensus is that this is a hoax.

Ok I drink this tea faithfully. When I saw this I immediately pulled my gallon out of the fridge and looked very closely. As I mentioned I have a gallon so my picture is bigger. I completely agree with #30. No where on here is a slave, maid, or black person. If anything all three people are white! I agree that we need to stop trying to find every little thing and make an issue out of it. I could see if it really was a slave on there, but it's not. When we do things like this we further create the divide between whites and blacks. Plantations still exist, even if there is no longer slavery. Old houses still exist like that in the south and people get paid to re-enact that period. All this picture are doing is showing a classical view of the south and not necessarily a plantation.
