Rihanna enjoyed a spot of bowling while taking some down time prior to performing during the BRIT Awards in London last week. In case you’re wondering: the reason Rihanna is so loved the world over is because she is sweet and humble and doesn’t aloow her fame to go to her head like some other singers we know.

I sent the link to Sandra and I quote…”Ha ha! That was HORRIBLE! She definitely benefited from the help of a professional voice coach.”
Personally I think she has an amazing voice but clearly Sandra thought otherwise.

Loved the world over…for now. When they REALLY start loving her I know one blogger who will STOP loving her. If she ever reaches Bey status you’ll hate her immensely. As long as a woman is marginally talented and “hanging out” instead of working, you love her. But let a woman get on her grind and sing her heart out - you hate her. And she’s light skinned too? You might kill Rihanna if she ever learns how to sing and dance.

Smokie, I actually frequent alot of blogs because I myself write a column as a part of my job. I have frequented this particular blog long before I even started to write anything, but I noticed that it makes this much more interesting when I can comment on something and debate a little. I love to argue so this is right up my alley sometimes. I just feel the need to speak my peace and promote myself and what better way to do it than on here. Maybe I missed the memo that went out that said blog commenters are only women or gay men.

I love Rihanna! I think she has a nice voice (I mean, she’s no Beyonce or Whitney) but she can hold a tune and work a crowd.
I wish the haters (beyonce stans) would just accept the fact that Rihanna is a superstar and performer in her own right and she’s here to stay.

I think Rihanna has a nice voice…u guys are too critical and to be honest i don;t think anyone will be good enough if they don;t live up to a certain standard set to them by the masses… If Rihanna didn;t have the alleged affair with Jayz, she would have more supporters on this blog..so those pple are probably die hard Beyonce fans (i stand corrected). I know for a fact Rihanna’s concerts do well here in UK..so give the girl a break! She may not be very experienced singing live, but even Mariah had a rough start and so did J Hud. Thats something that can be learned with experience…but it doesnt dictate whether someone can sing or not..at least not entirely!
Mariah didn’t have a problem with her live singing in the beginning. It was her stage presence. Her singing was always on point!

….I hope Elizabeth didn’t mean to compare Rihanna to Mariah Carey or Jennifer Hudson- they are worlds apart. Rihanna has a pop voice, those two ladies can actually sing.
@ Elizabeth ~ Rihanna’s mediocre voice and horrible live performances have nothing to do with her alleged affair with Jay. The only things Rihanna has working in her favor at this point are great producers, great writers and a great stylist. Without all of those helpful people, Rihanna would still be helping her dad sell household items out of the back of his jacked up car.

OMG I just watched Rihanna’s performance from when she was in high school. And yes, money does change things(new nose, voice coach, better weave, etc.). Sounded like a sick cat back in the day. She’s definitely no Beyonce’. If you compare pre-stardom video footage of the two you’d see who had more drive and PURE talent, and why she’s(Beyonce’) here to stay–unlike this manufactured, fly by night, Beyonce’ wannabe. Sorry Sandra didn’t mean to burst your “Rihanna Stan” bubble:)
