PICS: Young Jeezy ‘Make a Wish Come True’ Dinner @ Justin’s

Rapper/entrepreneur Young Jeezy granted the wish of the lucky winner from his “Make Your Dreams Come True” contest with a special presentation and dinner at Justin’s Restaurant in Atlanta last night (2/26). The contest offered an open invitation to fans to share their dreams and aspirations with Jeezy.
The winning submission came from Tamara Jenkins-Wilson from North Carolina who wrote a heart-felt letter regarding her disabled son:
“My ultimate dream would be for me to provide a Wheelchair Accessible Van for my son, Davon Jenkins. Davon is 13 years old and has cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair. It is hard for me to provide this for him as we are a military family and I am unable to work as I have to take care of him. My husband is currently serving in Iraq so I physically lift him in and out of our vehicle when we need to go to appointments and such. Thanks so much for the opportunity.”
Young Jeezy was so touched by the letter that he flew Davon, Mrs. Jenkins-Wilson and, her husband Will Wilson to Atlanta to make the presentation of the wheelchair accessible van in person and treat the family to a special dinner. Click to see more pics

GOOD JOB JEEZY!!! It’s a d@mn shame teh mainstream media can report entertainers getting arrested on a regular basis, but when someone of his caliber actually does something to directly impact the community in a positive light we have to go searching for the story. SMH
That’s very generous of him. This will make a huge difference in that kids life.
Sandra this was such a wonderful display of true generousity from Jeezy. I love to see things like this. I guess when you get to that level where you have enough to do good things for good people it make it all worth it at the end of the day. He should be proud that he was able to do it. God Bless him. And God Bless the family he assisted. Kudos to his mother for being strong and driven. I hope to see more people do things like this. It’s the little things that mean a lot.
I volunteer and give all the time I don’t have much but what I do have I definitely like to give back and let people know that money is not suppose to make you, you are suppose to make it and when you have it, help others that are trying to get it.
Thank you and again Jeezy you are definitely a wonderful person for making a wish for this young man come true. This van will help his family in ways we would never image.

That is very nice of him. If more of these rappers would follow suit and do something to help one of their struggling fans instead of going to strip clubs and “making it rain” the world could become a better place.

That is so sweet of him! I remember a couple of months ago another site tried to blast Jeezy and make it seem like he was trying to avoid giving the family a van and the mother had several complaints about how long it was taking them to respond. So big ups to Jeezy for making it happen!!
And truthfully he knows he needs his hat, but I guess he’s trying to be grown and sexy now so he figures he can’t hide it forever!

Gosh, there’s something about Jeezy (despite his cone head and the many rumors) that I like, that makes him attractive to me. And it’s not the money. I don’t understand it, I can’t put my finger on it.
