Her "Worldwide Underground" in all it's rawness was more put together than this record. I listened to it and it's BAD. "Honey" which I bet wasn't even supposed to be on the album, is like a Godsend, because the rest of the LP are tracks that have that "UNFINISHED" feeling to them. It's like she got high (and she mentions smoking trees in one of the songs...actually two) she got high and just let the loop/reel record. It's TOO out there, beyond me. Hardly structured at all. Or it sounds that way to me. Still, I love her, but I'm not really feeling this 9.99 purchase, nor am I wholly feeling Janet's album. There's about 3/4 tracks that I like...the rest I can take it or leave it. @ AllICanSay,’

I had a WTF? moment when I listened to my Erykah CD, too.

I listen to them all from 3 Doors Down to Curtis Mayfield to John Coltrane (my favorite jazz musician) to Faith Hill back to Erykah. I am an equal opportunity listener. I like Erykah and all but her new album is not that good. Janet on the other hand did an amazing job on Discipline. If you buy the album make sure you listen to the title track called Discipline which is track #20. That track alone crushes all the R&B competition. Just take a listen.
