Heath Ledger’s ‘accident’ more like suicide; Pimp C died from sleeping condition

The NY coroner’s office released toxioclogy reports ruling actor Heath Ledger‘s death an “accident” based on results showing he had 3 different anti-anxiety medications and 2 different sleeping pills in his system.

Overdosing on a few sleeping pills is an accident. But Ledger had Valium, Ativan, Xanax, Lunesta and Restoril in his bloodstream at the time of his death. That’s more like suicide or murder.

In somewhat related news, an LA county coroner also ruled rapper Chad “Pimp C” Butler‘s untimely death an accident due to the combination of sleep apnea and the effects of cough medicine. Despite all the headlines blaming Pimp C’s death on cough medicine, it’s more likely he died from his medical condition sleep apnea considering the levels of Phenergen and Codeine in his bloodstream were not that high.

I don’t think Heath committed suicide. I just think he overdid it with the get high. It happens. God rest his soul.

As for Pimp C, no one overdoses on on sizzurp. They die from complications related to the use of it. In his case it worked against his sleep apnea. God rest his soul.

All in all these are both cases of premature death brought on by drug abuse. It will happen again no doubt.

I agree Bird, it will continue to happen. People get to a point when you can only get SO high and you have to take in more to reach that point. By then, your body just can’t take it. Our bodies struggle with enough, introducing drugs on any level is just dumb. You already know what your outcome will be.

I think Heath did was similar to what happened to Gerald Levert…..they over did it trying to get relief from their conditions….Heath was dealing with insomnia when he was in Chicago…..over 6 months ago….that’s a long time to be deprived of sleep……

That’s sad what happened to Pimp C also….a lot of people don’t take their health as seriously as they should….I had a friend who had it….she underwent a sleep study and they found that she stopped breathing in her sleep about 30 times…..sleep apnea is no joke……

RIP Pimp C…I already knew that Syrup was going to be a factor in his death.

DJ Screw, Big Mo and now Pimp C all died with the help of cough syrup.

I hope people wake up and realize that they are using drugs…no matter if you smoke, snort, shot or drink it…they will kill you:)!!!

I knew it wouldn’t be long before another post came out regarding his autopsy, Sandra can you please sit the hell down already with this story!! It’s almost as sickening as seeing Rhianna every 5 min. I can’t sit here & say who did what I go by the NEWS & when they were talking about Heath they were saying he was having nightmares due to the fact of the type of character he was playing in the new Batman movie!!! he said the makeup they made him wear literally scared him out of his sleep I think he was playing the Joker or something like that anyway I will not even touch Pimp C situation!! Both of these men were FOUND dead with medication around them & in there system, meaning it may very well have been an accident!! They are gone now so we need to let them rest in peace seriously!! Sandra you sitting here trying to compare there death’s is terrible!!!!

What he was taking was dangerous. People quit taking these pain/sleeping pills and go to your local health store and go the organic way.. It works just as good with out the 500 side effects that are worse than your original problem!!! In Heath’s case his doctors should be investigated for perscribing him all those at once. If you goal is to get high smoke the green stuff!!!

Sandra, you’re the only person I’ve seen reporting Lunesta and Ativan as part of the toxicology report. The brand names that all mainstream (therefore more credible) media are reporting are Oxycontin, Vicodin, Valium, Restoril, Xanax, Unisom or Nyquil.

I’ve worked in a pharmacy before, and given the volume of scrips I’ve filled with this particular cocktail, I think Heath’s death was accidental not a suicide, for you to suggest that, especially since you claim to be a nurse, is vile Sandra. Many candy stores (also known as pain clinics) commonly prescribe Oxycontin and Hydrocodone, and it is commonplace to look at a patient’s profile see Xanax and also see Restoril or Valium in there too, since they are the same class of drugs that treat pain, anxiety and sleep disorders.

Bird & Goliano, I completely agree. I mean does it really matter how they passed? The fact is they’re dead & in the ground. They arent worried about the press or what they think, so why do we keep talkin about this?

Nope. Everyone assumed that because of his weight, but onec the toxicology report was completed it was determined that he overdosed on prescription meds. They are the new crack. If I don’t start seeing some of these doctors and pharmacists going to prison just like common drug dealers I’ma get Rev. Al on their butts. hehehe

Do we know these people personally? NO!!! So I think that it is rude for those to talk about the decease like this. For all we know the Doctors who gave them the medicines may not have checked to see how the medicines would react when taking them together. It may not have been explained to them that they weren’t supposed mix these medicines together. So let us reflect on the good and let these men REST IN PEACE!
