New Music: Rocko Da Don – Tomorrow

Rapper Rocko Da Don‘s catchy follow-up to his street anthem “Umma Do Me” is called “Tomorrow” produced by Drummer Boy. The track follows the same “do for self” theme as “Umma” with Rocko encouraging his troops to “stunt, ball like it’s no tomorrow.”

Rocko’s album “Self Made” drops March 18.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: if this dude EVER catches on he’ll leave Monica faster than K-Fed left Shar.

    Smokie…you a fool!!!

I see he likes to make catchy chorus music. If he would just shut up and let the chorus play…I might support his ass!!!

I won’t be able to listen to it until I get home but I just KNOW this mess is going to be boring. *sigh* His music is so unremarkable. I was listening to Outkast yesterday like “Elevators,” “B.O.B,” and a few others and I’m like wow… The South used to be so original, bringing some new sh*t to the table, now everybody wants to stunt and ball and look a mess………

when did mr monica add “da don” to his name?

  13. 13

Sounds too much like he’s trying to be the next TI. If he plans on catching on, he needs to come with more originality. The song isn’t appealing to me.

You promote this garbage only because you have a personal connection to Monica and bag on Nas/ 50 cent claiming that their career is fading…you make no sense!

wow so this is what Monica chose to reproduce with, oh well the kids are cute!! however he sounds like he’s trying to emulate Jeezy to me all these new rappers coming out with the same slow flow yeeeeeeeah & hahaaaaaaaa I may sound like a Jeezy groupie but just leave the oooooohs & aaaaaaahs to him cause Rocko & that other dude Shawty lo sound too much like him!!

    kat says:

i thought jeezy was on that song umma do me…but i guess not. the song is catchy though. i didn’t know it was him until i saw the video….i thought it was jeezy and somebody….just didn’t know the somebody was rocko.

I’M SORRY. I don’t know if the song ever made it out here to Vegas but he just looks like he sucks. He doesn’t get extra points cause he keeps knockin up Monica. I love her, how about he push some tracks for her new album. I will not be purchasing any new CDs. I only buy them for riding in the car and he isn’t rollin with me.

Krysi - yes the same one says:

THIS IS STARTING TO GET OUTTA HAND!… Somebody save THE SOUTHern HIP HOP scene before these stupid MF put it back into the wrong hands (New York!!!). Thanks to people like Soulja Boy, Rocko, and every other snap crackle pop….we won’t see radio spins for at least 40 years after the whole culture drops us like Columbia dropped Amerie! Where is the substance…the energy, I would rather listen to Lil John and the Eastside Boyz ask me “What U Gon Do?” 100 times than to download this n*gga sh*t for free on limewire…at least I’d get a good WORKOUT!

Well one thing I do like about this is the background in his picture, but I’d leave to music career to Monica. I’m sure the only reason why this is even posted is because Sandra promotes anything dealing with Monica. I get the sense that no one cares about her man though.

    Taimia1 says:

    Sandra,

If you want to be invited to Lil Rocko’s next birthday party, you better run out and buy 30 copies!!! Wouldn’t want your invitation to get “lost” in the mail!!!;-)

Monica better sing something quick, they won’t be able to survive if they have to depend on him alone. He’s burning her money on studio time and this mess.

This just doesn’t do it for me.

    prettybrwngrl says:

alrighty..sandy-n-da-rose you can take this down now. for one this is not news that rocko the don dada or whatever the f*ck he wants to be called single is coming out tomorrow. for 2 nobody gives a f*ck. for 3 to be saying some ignorant sh*t as….”encouraging his troops to “stunt, ball like it’s no tomorrow.” is the most ridiculous sh*t i’ve heard. grow the f*ck up already!!!!

  33. 33

The wrong hands being New York? I think not. Rap was born in NYC and that’s who is going to rescue it. Just watch…..

    NYC or Chicago…
