Sean Combs wants you to know he’s sending baby gifts to Jennifer Lopez
Sean Combs is sending baby gifts to new mother of twins, Jennifer Lopez. We know this because Combs can’t simply do something nice without sending out a press release to announce it.
Combs, who drew raves for his terrible acting in the television remake of Broadway’s A Raisin in the Sun which aired last night on ABC, told People magazine, “I’m going to send Jennifer and Marc some Sean John baby clothes. I’m so happy for her, it’s such a blessing, and she will make a great mother.”
Lopez bypassed the waiting hordes of paparazzi to take her twins home form the hospital yesterday. Combs, who is the father of twins himself said, “It’s double the love, and it’s also double the crying and the screaming, so it’s a unique blessing.” (Source)
Combs’ long time girlfriend Kim Porter probably shares the same fertility doctor as J-Lo, Angelina Jolie, Jessica Alba and everyone else in Hollywood. Don’t you know having twins is the new fad in Hollywood?
R.I.P. Static Major
Noted producer Static Major, real name Stephen Garrett, passed away yesterday in a Louisville, KY hospital.
As a member of Playa, Static began his musical career under the tutelage of Jodeci’s DeVante Swing, and formed kinships with fellow members of DeVante’s Swing Mob such as Missy Elliott, Timbaland, and Ginuwine. No autopsy has been performed, but it is believed he died from a brain aneurysm.
Static’s most successful work was for Aaliyah, whose single “Try Again” from the 2000 film Romeo Must Die, rose to number 1 on the charts. In the mid-2000s, Static worked with R&B group Pretty Ricky, R&B singer Tank, and appeared on David Banner‘s 2004 single “Crank It Up”.
Recently, Major Static collaborated with Lil’ Wayne on the single “I Got My.” Click image to listen to single.

HHSAN was founded by Russell Simmons and Benjamin Chavis to sponsor voting initiatives among young African Americans. In its first three years, HHSAN registered one-half million new voters.
Ciara’s beautiful outfit is age appropriate. And her hair, which is always on point, is styled to perfection by Atlanta stylist, Ericka. Ciara continues her quest to find backup dancers for her upcoming tour this weekend in Miami, Florida.
Young Jeezy Makes a Wish Come True Tonight

The rumors that plagued Young Jeezy‘s “Make Your Dreams Come True” contest will be settled tonight when Jeezy makes a North Carolina woman’s wish come true.
Rumor had it that Jeezy, real name Jay Jenkins, refused to grant contest winner Tamara Jenkins-Wilson‘s wish for a wheelchair accessible van to transport her disabled son because he didn’t want to pay for it.
Jeezy’s camp strenuously denied the Internet rumors. Mrs. Jenkins-Wilson and her son, Davon Jenkins, 13, will be presented with the customized wheelchair accessible van tonight at a special dinner at Justin’s restaurant.
In her winning letter, Jenkins-Wilson, who is no relation to Jeezy, wrote, “My ultimate dream would be for me to provide a Wheelchair Accessible Van for my son, Davon Jenkins. Davon is 13-years-old and has cerebral palsy and is confined to a wheelchair.” Mrs. Wilson whose husband is currently serving his country in Iraq, continued, “I physically lift [Davon] in and out of our vehicle when we need to go to appointments and such.”
Jeezy flew members of Jenkins-Wilson’s family to Atlanta where they will join members of his own family for the special dinner and presentation at Justin’s restaurant tonight. Jeezy’s boo Keyshia Cole is not expected to attend.
Old Obama photo sparks controversy
A 2006 photo of presidential candidate Barack Obama dressed as an old woman in Somali nomadic robes has sparked a new controversy in the race for the White House. Senator Obama’s camp believes the photo was forwarded to Drudgereport.com by Senator Hillary Clinton in an attempt to smear Obama.
Senator Clinton has fallen behind Obama by 16 points in the polls and her campaign has been dogged by rumors that she is a racist. So desperate times calls for desperate measures.
Obama’s team accused a “shameful” Camp Clinton of circulating the photo of Obama dressed as a Somali elder, taken during a visit to Africa in 2006. Obama has been dogged by false rumors that he is Muslim. (Source)
Janet Jackson on BET 106 & Park
Janet Jackson‘s album Discipline drops today. In anticipation of her new CD, Janet took her promo tour to the kids on 106 & Park yesterday. Janet performed on GMA this morning (sorry, I missed it), and she will make appearances on Ellen, Larry King and TRL. Discipline is expected to top the charts next week with an estimated 200,000 units sold.
