The Queen of dance, Ciara, was gracious enough to grant Sandrarose.com exclusive access to photograph her open call for backup dancers at Gotta Dance Atlanta studio last week. Ciara put out a call for “raw, fresh” dancers to go out on the road with her in support of her upcoming CD.
500+ hopefuls turned out to show Ciara their best moves, including the young boy pictured with her who mastered a complicated dance routine as well as his own freestyle (click to see him in action). Ciara was so impressed with the Atlanta turnout that she added another Atlanta date to her schedule.
Ciara was joined at the Atlanta audition by her mom Ms. Jackie, her manager Phillana Williams, and her toy poodle Tyson. Spies tell me Ciara sported a rock the size of Gibraltar on her finger. Will there be a special announcement forthcoming from CiCi’s camp?

Stop trying to protect your friend from negativity Sandra. She’s a big girl i’m sure she’s heard worst about herself than the bs opinions of some people on here.

I agree to a certain extent. Ciara can dance. That’s one of those undeniable facts. You may not like her style of dancing, but to each his own. My problem with the post is her being called the queen. How can you be the queen when you’ve mastered only one style of dancing? Knowing how to stripper dance makes you the queen of the strippers, not all of dance. Katherine Dunham is the true queen of dance. Deal with that!!!

about the Monica post, I agree with you pmap. Sandra always turns off the comments for anything that is posted about Monica which I don’t understand because I get the feeling that most people on here, like myself, actually like Monica and thinks she’s a great singer. I say, if you want to shove Rihanna down our throats everyday, then we should atleast be able to comment on the Monica post. Monica if you actually read this stuff, ask Sandra why she doesn’t let her fans comment about you?

Why does everyone make a big deal about Sandra calling her the Queen of Dance? Why is that so important? I don’t think she mean’t to degrade anyone else or take the title from anyone that “thinks” they are the queen of dance. She is just giving her some props. Queen of dance or Princess of Dance, who cares she can still dance!!And not just poppin’ her goods everywhere! Janet is cool and certainly we have established that. So let’s give someone else a chance, please!! And then the time will come when Cici will have to sit down and give someone else their chance. Just let her live.
wow where should I start??? first of all I am not that big of a fan as far as Ciara goes cause to me she is just a reincarnation of Aaliyah & I mean that in no disrespect cause I love Aaliyah but it just seems like she tried to fill her shoes to quickly we all know that she(Aaliyah) was the only young sista out here who had the dance moves with every song whether it be slow or fast & after that Promise video I was convinced she was trying to hard although she may not realize it!!! Its important because she is NOT THE QUEEN OF DANCE!!! Have u seen Ciara’s dance moves at Julliard? Maybe on Broadway, seen em there? Didnt think so… When she can fly & leap (as a ballet dancer can), tap like puffy (or the Sandman) or move like josephine, then maybe I’ll give her a title. I know this will be taken the wrong way, but whatever. Ciara is only considered a great dancer in the strip club. Ask any ballet or tap dancer/instructor if she can be considered a dancer & they’ll laugh in ur face

Well Aaron this isn’t how this site started out. Sandra’s site was always good getting honest thoughts on how the public feels about certain issues. Now you people are making friends and going back and forth with each other. You would think by seeing 60+ comments that more people are participating, but it’s actully just the same people with obviously nothing else better to do that continues to post over and over again.
Yea, it’s cool sometimes. But this is becoming to be a regular thing with you guys. They have message board for people like you. Maybe you should try using them sometimes. But hey, that’s just my opinion. =)
