Shawty Lo and DJ Unk were the only Dirty South superstars in the building when Lo celebrated the release of his CD Wednesday night at ESSO. Hits Daily Double estimates Lo’s CD will sell 35k units based on first day sales reports from major retailers.

omg ms.peaches…a gnome! yes yes yes! except i was going to say an elf or an imp but a gnome sounds right. i am laughing too hard over here. i don’t see this guy as a rapper or a great artist but i heard from a friend that the album release party was off the chain…like lots of fans came and showed love! i was shocked but that’s good if his hood showed love. maybe other rappers don’t respect him like that to show up and give love. glad that unk showed up for him. good or maybe not so good we all want support!
…and fans will be ultimately responsible for buying the album and making this man money, not a few rappers who show up at the album release party. hopefully the fans were not just on the male and female groupie tip but true and will buy his record if they love dude so much…don’t just talk, do! i heard the album wasn’t half bad…but i gotta hear it for my dang self. BUT i can say this…outside of his music shawty lo is a nice guy. i’ve interated with him during an event. he’s a tiny lil elf like man but he’s cool. i didn’t know he was so old though…knew he was up there but dang!
D4L shoulda gave the man some luv…but maybe they are just jelly since ‘ol boy’s song (“They Know”) was such a hit OUTSIDE of the group…hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm!!!!

i hope he flops big time i HATE that song,and usually i like the lil club songs but its something about this song and that weak ass dance they be doing in the video that i hate with a passion….but i take that back,i dont hope he flops because im not usually one to throw salt on someone elses game….i hope he does well but i wont be supporting him thats for sure.
