I just don’t care about the current American vogue covers anymore. They just become more about A-listers than the model and that makes them boring. If you see the covers in Europe they would blow you away. This, not the tiniest bit.

Would everyone be as aggravated if it was a white athelete posing with Gisetlle?the article is about bodys Lebron is the hottest athlete right now and Giselle is the top model. Their clothing is to showcase their bodies. How can anyone be angry at whites for thier thoughts about a photo with a black man and a white womant when Sandra herself has an image of a gorilla when she looks at this photo. We would not be discussing this either if it was Tyra or Naomi in the photo. Sometimes I am not sure if people really want to be treated exactly the same.

Since this is a fashion magazine, he should have been wearing a nice suit. The image is definitely very mandigoish. We also dont need another image of an athlete and white woman…so stereotypical!

Studies have shown white Americia looks at the black man as animals that only want to take their women….and I’ll be damned if that picture doesn’t take care of both of those sterotypes. I see where your going Sandra.
Here’s some of the study:
Discrimination against blacks linked to dehumanization, study finds the findings show that society is more likely to condone violence against black criminal suspects as a result of its broader inability to accept African Americans as fully human. Jennifer Eberhardt, a Stanford associate professor of psychology who is black, was shocked by the results, particularly since they involved subjects born after Jim Crow and the civil rights movement. “It was hard to prepare for how strong [the black-ape association] was—how we were able to pick it up every time.”
