After much public speculation, and most of it untrue, it became apparent to publicly state that Carlos “Shawty Lo” Walker is not infected with HIV, the virus that causes AIDS. He does however suffer from Diabetes, a Serious condition that affects millions of people, particularly those of color. Despite occasional set backs, Shawty Lo continues his rigorous work schedule in support of his debut album Units In The City. He appreciates the outpouring of concern and support for his health, but he is doing fine.

That is great news. It is a blessing. We must all protect ourselves when choose to have sexual relations with someone!
What he need to do is show everyone he’s HIV test results in order to really put this to rest. A statement from his publicist is not gonna cut. It will just keep coming up over time.
It is good news. I don’t know who he is but glad that he decided to put out a news release. Even if he had it ppl need to remember how u get it. I am not going to die because of sex. I am in a committed relationship. Ppl, nothing wrong with getting tested before u start a new relationship. Both me and then bf went to get tested before we became active. Peace of mind is so important. Neither of us had risky sex with our ex’s but u never no what your ex was doing. Ppl wake up and cover it up. To the woman. If a man is not willing to cover it up he is not worthy of u.
It amazes me the concern of this man’s HIV status, whats the point of showing your test to prove to the world who are gonna assume & speculate what the hell they want to anyway?? If he doesn’t have it then that’s excellent, if he does then Im sure those closest to him are helping & supporting him, I agree that AIDS awarness is very important & needs to be put out there for everyone to take notice & know that’s it’s real & doesn’t have a name!!
Yeah, it’s been going around for YEARS that L.O. had AIDS, it was even reported on the news at one point ccus some female had put him on blast…..but, it’s good to know that this isn’t true. I GUESS!!!
It is really not of my concern whether or not this man has HIV but his publicist making a statement that he doesnt have HIV does not mean that he does not indeed really have HIV. We cannot just believe what comes out of someones mouth because we all know that people lie. Protect yourself regardless of what someone says their status is.

uhhh… so who is she 2 say that he doesnt hav it & u all believe it? Thats nota letter frm the health department, i dont buy it.
