I also have to agree with andriceb and miamore73. There are way too many young girls having babies they don’t want or are incapable of taking care of. Weather you agree with it or not abortion exsist, and blacks are not the only ones exercising it as an option.

I have to agree with andriceb there are plenty of girls out there under the age of 20 with no job no education and 3 kids. Who’s paying for them. We are. Sad enough a lot of these girls are minorities. There are planned parenthoods in white neighborhoods as well.

well, some would say the proof is in the pudding…look at our community. Some of us do need to stop having kids that we neither want or can take care of. Why get up in arms because you hear someone (that is presumed white) say it. I see it everyday.

wellll, for those of you who don’t know about the founding of planned parenthood, here’s a little history lesson. pp was founded by margret sanger, a proponent of eugenics-that pseudo science that gave rise in the 1930’s master plan of hitler’s. sanger and many like minded intellectuals felt the poor were ill-suited for most aspects of life they themselves enjoyed and aggitated for the sterilization of the poor. but publicly she is remembered as an advocate for birth control for all women regardless of race.

I feel what you guys are saying about she did nothing wrong but I still feel the whole situation is screwed up if that was an actor trying to bait her in so to speak but even the way he went about it was stupid, Im sorry that was crazy to me & then to see that baby in the pic just escalated it!!!

To me it doesn’t appear that the caller was egging him on or anything, but it’s hard to tell by reading it, opposed to hearing teh actual tape. But, from what I read it sounds like she handled the request as professionally as possible. She stuck to teh basics. The name of the donator and the specific group that the money should be earmarked for. And, based on her statements it’s not abnormal for people to donate to specific groups. The laughing was probably a nervous reaction. Exactly what did she do to warrant disciplinary action?

sandra, i just don’t see a problem here. planned parenthood supports abortion and they appear to earmark funds. everyone in the gifts and grants business knows you take a donor’s money as fast as they give it, don’t ask questions, and don’t piss them off.

somebody called this girl playing games and she appeared to handle it well. would we have liked somebody to instead curse the caller out and hang up the phone?
