Chris Brown: ‘I have a close friend, but it’s not like a relationship’
Did you expect the above quote to make any sense? Remember this is coming out of the mouth of a goofy kid who can’t make up his mind if he wants to be with the hottest chick in the game or his old lady.
MTV Base recently pinned Chris Brown down and asked him point blank if he was dating Rihanna.
Chris’ response was, “as a relationship standpoint I am a single guy, I am definitely single”.
But Chris quickly added, “I have a close friend but it’s not like a relationship, I’m not trying to settle down, I’m only 18 so I’m just trying to live my life and have fun”. (Source 1 and 2)

I definitely agree with #1. I remember those days. Just like when all of a sudden the press spots one celebrity with the other and then say, “What happened, they broke up so fast”. These people are just having fun. The press wants to marry them off quick.
Maybe Chris and RiRi are playing the same game Mario Lopez and Evan Longoria played. LOL!
