Audio: T.I. Speaks at the Georgia Dome
Dreamcatcher’s ATL sent audio of T.I. at the Georgia Dome speaking about AIDS and its impact on the black community.
T.I. spoke during a special Easter service sponsored by New Birth Baptist Church this past Sunday. T.I., who is on house arrest while awaiting trial on federal weapons charges, was granted a short reprieve by a magistrate judge on Thursday so he could attend Easter services with his family.
T.I. is accompanied on the audio by one of his spiritual adviser’s Bishop Eddie Long, pastor of New Birth Baptist Church. The audio was produced by New Birth and a music track was added in the background.
The music is extremely annoying but at least you can hear T.I.’s message loud and clear.

He should have spoke to the wanna be thugs about guns and how you should only trust no man when you are doing something illegal instead of aids.I assume it must have been aids awarness week or something.sorry for not knowing.

Was this AIDS week or month? T.I should have spoke about guns & violence too, and how your actions can cause repercussions and consequences.
Yeah, I’m confused…not sure why he’s speaking on AIDS, albeit a very timely and important topic in today’s African American community, but I wish he would have spoken to all the “wanna be thugs” as HeyNow said. I think that message would have had a greater impact on his particular demographic…could be wrong…just my opinion.

i don’t think he should’ve talked about guns since he is awaiting trial and the speech can be used against him…he should speak about guns once he puts the ordeal behind him…
speaking about aids is a great topic, but is he gonna take heed to his own advice/speech? does this mean he’ll stop sleeping w/ groupies?! of course he knows to “wrap it up”, but having about leaving it “unwrapped” and only sleeping w/ tiny…there’s a thought…
I think it was a good message but I couldn’t really get into it because it was mixing up with a guess a song of his!! Celebs can make a difference because our some of our youth hang on there every word so Im still praying that he gets through this ordeal & hopefully if he does he will never make the same mistake!! cause as we all know it happens!!
i’m not sure if speaking about guns would have been appropriate since he hasn’t gone to trial yet. i think they wanted him to reach out (speak) to the youth in some way. i have nothing bad to say about tip…i just think his decision making is off.
He spoke about AIDS because Bishop Long is working with AID Atlanta, the CDC and Tyler Perry. They have produced a documentary on AIDS. It was talked about at last Tuesday’s Bible Study. There was an open-forum and expert panel.

but to add to it if he is not married he should not sleep with anyone (hello we were in church weren’t we!??) BUT if he is (you know people are gonna do what they wanna do and still go to church afterward) then he should wear a condom. Even if he is with Tiny…she aint his wife yet. Wifey yes but not wife and those groupies could care less…i hope he starts to care. Tiny is a good woman…always down for him.
So ironic to hear a man who has a number of children with different women commenting on AIDS and safe sex.

I think TI is having an epiphany, he has nothing to do but sit in that house and reflect on his life. Also, he probably is listening to the advice of getting his life and how he has been living reckless.
I mean yes TI has done alot of crazy things…but who are we to judge. If he wants to get his act together…hell I applaud him. Its never too late…even if he does have to do time he isn’t dead!!! You could be 50+ and its still not too late to get right with the Lord…TI do ya thing! I pray he continues to grow and expand in a positive manner…
hope you enjoying your time at home knocking up ms piggy, and creating a b-ball team, hope them lil niggas can dig, cause tip, you going to jail…but i digress, ti is a good rapper and i hope he really “changed his life around” nothing like the threat of doing 25 to life to calm a nigga down, guess this church thing isnt so bad….
T.I still needs to go to jail for the crime that he committed. If he would not of gotten caught someone could of been eventually injured or murdered. T.I should start a prison ministry when he gets settled in the federal pen.
So when did these celebs become an EXPERT? I bet the mother of the church on the front row don’t give a damn about a T.I…most people are thinking…who is he? Isn’t he supposed to be at home??
Anyway..he needs to get his life together and quit having kids without a better game plan than drugs, guns and sex. Also, is anyone tired of black women who are settling as a “Super Baby Mama” i.e. Tiny AND Kim Porter.
