Lil' Wayne stayed out of trouble long enough to make it to the Velvet Room last night - and the place was pandemonium! From the moment Weezy stepped in the spot until the moment he left, the ladies were out of control. By the end of the night, everybody's pockets were fat!
From the promoter (Alex Gidewon, AG Entertainment), to the bartenders, even the patrons got caked up thanks to Charles Grant of the New Orleans Saints, who tossed at least 5 Gs in crisp 20s, 50s, and 100s into the air. I guess that's how the real ballers do it!
Special thanks to Simon Gidewon for the access!
And props to Jermaine Dupri for shouting me out during his SoSo Def radio show on V-103 Saturday night! Rocko's listening party this week is going to be off the chain! I hear Monica will be in representing for her boo!

New Orleans Saints defensive end Charles Grant made it rain on the grateful crowd. Women got their child support paid, the fellas got their car notes paid. It was crazy!
Another dumb rapper is behind bars tonight. This is not an indictment on all rappers - just the stupid ones who can't stay out of trouble. The Game joined his numerous friends and associates who are already incarcerated, when he turned himself in to the Twin Towers Correctional facility in LA to begin serving his sentence of 60 days in jail.
If all goes well in there and he doesn't get shanked, Game will be released and required to perform 150 hours of community service and three years probation.
In February 2007, Game got into a scuffle with an opposing basketball player. After punching the man several times, Game brandished an automatic weapon and waved it in the air a few times to show the man how tough he was.

My photographer Freddyo caught LeToya Luckett partying with friends at Opera Nightclub on Friday. LeToya was in Atlanta as part of the cast of the stage play "Rumors." I don't know much about the play (I didn't even know the play was in town). But it seems, the production was plagued with problems throughout its run here.
"Rumors", which ended its Atlanta run on Sunday, often played to to a theater that was at half its capacity. On Saturday, half the audience reportedly walked out midway through the play.
Keyshia Cole and her mom Frankie on the set of Keyshia Cole: The Way It Is Reunion Show taping at Turner Studios in Atlanta on Saturday (3/1). Special thanks to Keyshia's manager Manny Halley of Imani Entertainment, for the exclusive access to the set! More pics from the set later!
Thanks to loyal reader EmmCee for the link to this video of Barack Obama's response to Hillary Clinton's ringing phone ad. But I was hoping to find a video that shows Barack answering the phone after the voice over says, "who do you want answering the phone?"
Can someone edit this video and insert a photo or video of Barack Obama right after the voice over says, "who do you want answering the phone?" And could you email me the link to the video when it's done?
I sure don't want Hillary Clinton in the White House answering the phone at 3 AM while the country is safely asleep. Just the thought of it scares me.
