Al Sharpton participated in the Stay Strong Foundation’s “Healing Starts With Us” Campaign Launch on March 18, 2008 at The Malcolm X & Dr. Betty Shabazz Memorial & Educational Center in New York City.

This campaign seems great, when are they going to promote it?
Well I’m glad you did this post because I have not heard of this anywhere else. It sounds like a worthy cause. Isn’t it funny how John Amos’ cul-de-sac has remained the same all these years? As a matter of fact he looks the same. Did you know that although he played the father of JJ, they are actually the same age?
Oh yeah, Terry better watch out for Snoops scandalous a$$. She likes to turn out straight women rather than date gay women. Never mind. I’m sure she wasn’t talking about 50 year old women when she said that.

Thanks for the post Sandra. This sounds like a very worthy cause. Now I have to admit that the first picture through me off at first, because I couldn’t figure out why these particular people would be sharing a stage, but after reading the post I think it’s a beautiful Unity pic. Shows solidarity on this issue, and let’s people know that they are not alone.
For those of you who are still unclear about what the foundations purpose is, here is there mission statement.
MISSION STATEMENT
This campaign seeks to provide a support network inviting an open dialogue about emotional distress.

I think Snoop feels like a boy so she dresses like a boy. She’s such a heterosexual boy that she is technically a virgin and as I stated earlier she likes to date straight women. I truly believe some people were just born the wrong sex and she is one of them
I meant to say she is a homophobic boy not heterosexual boy. I learned all this from her Wendy Williams interview which was very enlightening. I thought I knew everything about gay folks having grown up with them my whole life but she taught me something new.
Wow this seems like a good cause & Im glad to see alot of big names come out to support it!! That does look like a wedding band Snoop has on (?? scratching my head) not sure what that is about but I guess to each is own!! look at how good James looks though wow he must really be taking care of himself he looks better than JJ!!!

Jimmie Walker was born in 1947 and John Amos was born in 1939, so they are NOT the same age; but there is only an eight year age difference between the two. Can’t believe everything you read on a gossip column thread. Y’all don’t even have to believe me, but doing a little checking and research never hurt anyone.
