It’s kinda, sorta real. He wasn’t standing directly in front of the car when he jumped. The car was to his right. If he would have stood still the car would have zoomed past him and left him untouched. I say kinda, sorta because from the looks of it, he could make that jump if he wanted to.

C’mon now that’s not real. It’s just a Nike commercial (He’s promoting his brand new shoes in stores a few weeks from now). It’s well done but it’s of course fake. Kobe would never risk his legs nor his life for a commercial. If that car hits him then he’s a dead man.

You know I was watching the news this morning and the anchor woman made a really good point. If you look closely it looks like Kobe is closer to the camera than the car (or vice versa. Speculation is that he may have made the jump but not directly over that car.

There has to be some sort of clause in his contract to prevent this type of stupidity especially not long before the play offs.
