PICS: T-Boz Meet & Greet at Chase’s Closet in Houston
Rapper turned entrepreneur Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins of TLC held a meet & greet to introduce her new children’s clothing line yesterday at her Chase’s Closet Boutique in Houston, Texas. Proceeds from the new clothing line will benefit the Texas Children’s Foster Care System. NFL star Takeo Spikes was on hand to support his boo. The Houston flagship store opened in 2005, followed by Chase’s Closet of Atlanta.

Good for T-Boz, giving back like that. She looks good, but a little on the tired side.
T-Boz was always my favorite member of TLC. I’m glad she has her own hustle to support her family and a good cause in the community. Her dude is handsome CHOCOLATE too….GET IT GIRL.
I am now convinced that the key to maintaining youthful looks for black women is to stay as skinny as humanly possible. This girl looks fabulous just like every other skinny black female celeb over 30. Leena, Tina and Dianne have shown us that if we keep that weight down we can look hella sexy into our 60s and even 70s in some cases.
Now excuse me while I go develop a crack habit right quick.

This is a great business, I am glad that the proceeds go towards those who can really use it. I don’t think enough celebs give back, this is a GREAT initiative. T-boz does look a little weary but running a business CAN TAKE ITS TOLL on anyone. KUDOS to T-boz overall though … much success!

That is true but Tina isn’t really all that skinny but she is old as hell and still looks okay.
Must we not forget that T-Boz still has sickle cell and she’s always been thin.
I love me some Tionne aka T-Boz. She is definetly a survior of sickle cell which is known to plague our community. I wish her the best!

It is great that shes giving back..There are lot of kids in the Texas foster care system so this is much needed however I’m sorry ya’ll but she needed to hit those roots up w/a chi.Don’t hit me!
I don’t think black women need to stay skinny to stay beautiful. That whole thought process is fed by magazines and television shows full of white women.
I’m not saying that being as big as Aretha is okay but there are plenty of beautiful big black women in the world. Everyone is supposed to be a size 6, 7 or 8. Remember when Oprah lost all that weight and looked like a bobble head. I think the key is to find the healthiest weight for you now that’s beautiful.

i think it’s great her endeavor will benefit foster children, but her weave is totally unacceptable! am i the only persont that noticed it LOL!
It times to ditch the blond weave with the honey blonde new growth..Its time for a more sophisticated look and not the #27 or #44 (weave colors)
