A lot of the people who are registered to comment don’t do it regularly. I’m sure that will also be the case with the new people. Particularly those who have joined to comment on that specific post. Not to mention Sandra is a pretty good moderator as evidenced by the great discussions that take place on the site. She has no problem banning people that don’t know how to act.
I’m salty as the gates down under b/c this was the only blog that didn’t have all that “n!ggamoro” nonsense. Now we gone have to deal with the “I’m first”, “she too dark”, “he too gay”, “you too poor” riff raff mess.
I feel like a baby child whose mother just broke the news that she was pregnant with twins!

No Newbie’s…. We are a family and for the most part our comments are pretty mature and I think there is a mutual level of respect as well…. I am selfish too.
Well up up and away we go. It does feel like a close family, we’ve survived the ‘hurricane’ that wiped out a few and we’re still standing. We have our ups and differences of opinions, we have the hater control tower (love you guys!!!!) and the lovers of all things. Not a day goes by that I don’t stop by—not only to speak my mind but to read your comments and opinions as well.
In the words of Cedric “I W I S H A…… would” come up in here and start some mess ;). It should be interesting, they’ve been on the outside looking in and have cramps in their fingers waiting at the gate. I just hope everyone continues to be respectful of personal opinions and such. Let’s make the NAACP proud. 1-2-3 BREAK

^^Hellava I think it will be cool..you are correct, we do have our differences, but we are still in the same “gang” if a person comes in trying to wreck havoc it’s curtains..but hopefully with the onlookers they’ve realized what type of site this is and will act accordingly..I know most of us are pessimistic about opening up registration, but the simple fact is..we are in a comfort zone here..we know what flies and what doesn’t..dealing with childish antics that so many other blogs allow is simply unappealing..this is one of the few somewhat “dignified”gossip blogs..and I know I would like it to stay that way
On a serious note, I think the the newer posters will acclimate to our environment. Either that, or run for the mountains—some of you guys are ca-ray-zie!
