i bet that guy looked like a real brotha in his hay day!

i think star is still upset that she was outed as a liar and trying to cover up the gastric bypass as opposed to just admitting upfront when asked. ontop of all of that, she crossed barbara walters of all people. i dont understand why she’s suprised that she was black balled. come now. she hasnt had a good job since the view. i guess barbara walters has more pull than she thought.

It’s funny how everyone says Stars business is her business and only her business. When it’s Beyonce/Rhianna or Tom Cruise it’s well their a celebrity and they chose that life where everyone has a right to know their business. Well I think Star made a choice and continues to make a choice of putting her business out there. She’ll only work as long as anyone gives a damn about her business. I think it was really hypocritical for her to sit there on THE VIEW and lie about her issues (while exposing everyone elses)and then make her co-hosts lie with her. She’s a liar that’s all there is to it. She even managed to lie to herself when she married a gay man.

Barbara didn’t expose her before she exposed herself. That would have been throwing her under the bus.

i dont’ see what barbara did that was so wrong here. Its a memoir, its about her life. people ask questions, she give answers. I don’t see how anythign barbara said was negative….its da friggin truth. She didn’t say anythign we didn’t already know.

Starr, just needs to go sit down. I stopped liking her azz years ago. way b4 she left the view. She wants to be a celeb, and she has that….now she needs to go sit down. Her behind didn’t have it in her to loose weight the hard way so she went for the quick fix, and wanted to act like she was doing portion controls….as if folks watching is stupid. That makes starr a liar and a fraud in my book….so w/e

And barb is promoting a book, so she is being asked questions. Why did supahead put dat stuff in her book?….and how many flock to read it huh

I agree with most everybody here. Babs is just trying to sell her book. There is no way I would have an affair and then wait 30+ years(I’m assuming)to talk about it. At that point, you might as well take it to the grave. Star may have her faults, but she has never (to my knowledge) portrayed herself to being a homewrecker. All the ish she’s admitted to only affects her and that gay man she married.

What’s HILARIOUS is when Star said, “It is a sad day when an icon like Barbara Walters, in the sunset of her life…”

LMFAO! Star just went ahead and put one of that chick’s feet in the ground! Priceless

You guys are right, Star’s business is her business. IMO….She crossed the line though when she asked them to go along with her lie. They sat there day in day out on national tv listening to her talk about pilates and portion control when they knew damn well she was lying. It’s one thing to ask your “friends” to keep a secret, but for her to ask co-workers knowing she would be talking about this issue to be dishonest was straight up wrong in my book.

I think Barbara Walters has erased whatever respect she had in the broadcasting business with the release of this “smutty” book. She has interviewed so many celebrities and politicians and that alone would have made an amazing book to write about. Why does she feel the need to put all this scandalous stuff in this book where she is revealing secrets not only about her but about others as well. I honestly do not consider her a credible source any longer. Star’s weight issue is her business. As a friend and coworker if she asked them not to divulge her business then they should have respected that. But I guess selling books and looking like a hypocrite is all worth it. Congrats Barbara.
