The care African-American people receive is not as effective or consistent as others, in particularly those caught up in the wel-fare system. It's obvious her family loves her but the city is not responsible for her actions. Yeah, she's probably a good girl, loves the kids and has 3 jobs and all that, but she has a problem. So my question is what if she had harmed the older woman, then what? This incident is more than someone looking for 15 minutes of youtesttubebaby fame. It highlights the lack of proper care we give to ourselves when we ignore our illnesses [then want to blame the "system"], the lack of respect we have for others and the ignorance of those who support "wrong" and blaming it on medication. So if she's bi-polar and YOU KNOW or suspect she's not taking her meds then put her in a straight jacket. Go figure, cause next time this could end tragically. She's Black.
