Pretty Ricky with Atlantic Records’ rep Cannon Kent
Atlantic Records artists Pretty Ricky slipped into Atlanta yesterday for a day of interviews and industry meet & greets to promote their upcoming CD “80s Babies”. Pretty Ricky has had its share of ups and downs since rising to fame on the strength of their top ten single “Grind With Me” in 2005.
After losing a member to the flashing lights of Hollywood, Pretty Ricky has regrouped with a new lead singer and a new attitude. During an interview with a local paper yesterday, PR addressed the rampant gay rumors that continue to dog the group. “We’re not gay, but we love everyone,” they said.
With the release of 80s Babies on September 23, 2008, the group hopes to reclaim their shrinking fan base by giving the ladies what they want: sex and more sex.

I haven’t heard the new single yet at all, but thanks for the photos Sandra. Its good to see some non-promo shots of the new group. The one member bent over is a little “how you doin”, but who wouldn’t be form that angle. LOL. There lyrics can sometimes be elementary but I actually love the way they sound when they harmonize. Or at least how they did on the 1st two albums. I have a mix tape where they are singing acapella and they sounded great. Really awesome actually … I hope the new member works out and the music content and delivery improves.

To say “any self respecting adult” is funny because how many people are around here shouting and screaming ‘Bust it baby’ or the lyrics to ‘Lollipop.’ Alot of today’s music … (the popular mainstream songs at that) do not contain self-respecting themes/lyrics if you ask me.

@ Shunda, I try not to have a problem with these queers cuz they’re actually friends of mine (did I just show my age? LOL) but I ask them everytime I see them, “WTF are yall singing & rappin about!!
