Tuesday night, Grand Hustle held a super secret private listening session for T.I.’s new CD Paper Trail, dropping soon. My photographer Freddy O was invited but he got there a little too late.
Recently, T.I. was in Columbus for a performance and he dropped by 98.3 The Beat. A female caller tried to put T.I. on the spot but he handled himself in a mature manner. This is why we love the new, positive T.I. ’cause he’s so real! If this question was put to him last year, the end result would have been much different. Cop that Paper Trail so T.I. can keep Tiny in Louis.

yo T.I. is dropping some heat….i’m looking forward to his album
I’ve known him since he was signed with LaFace Records and he was always real, but I agree that he has matured a great deal. Good job TIP!
One thing people seem to forget is that T.I. as yet to be sentenced so he has to watch every set he takes. But still can’t wait for his album to drop.

@coop - I though he was sentenced to a year and so many hours of community service….he just needs to go do that year.

Why cant Tiny buy her own LV? I love TI to death, but I still think this “NEW” TI is all because of the charges,

I’m sorry Sandra, but that may just be my number 1 reason I don’t buy the album! I could care less what Tiny is wearing! On another note, I lost respect for T.I after all this foolishness, I don’t think I’ll be purchasing another of his albums.

2 cents: I really don’t think the caller meant any disrespect. She asked him do he think that he was set up? I mean she’s a fan who just wants to know I guess. I don’t think that she was judging him because she said ‘if not, why would you put your career at stake’. So obviously, she doesn’t know if he was set up or not or she wouldn’t have asked the question. I think he got defensive nothing. But that’s just my 2 cents. I personally don’t care either way, that’s his life. I got my own life to live.
Hey maybe it’s me but I feel the opposite of the perception that he handled this well. The way he responded to this young lady actually was a departure from the “new TI”. On Bet the New TI presented a very mature, articulate person who was taking responsibility and learning from his mistakes and trying t help others. But in this video, he actually was defensive from the start of her call, by saying she could ask as many questions as she wanted but it was whether he would answer them. I am a great fan of TI but sometimes these celebs get a little too big for their draws because it’s the fans that keep you in business. When the fans peel away the artist hurt. An example is how everyone is making a big deal of Lil. Wayne of his million sold in his first week, well back in the day that was common place for artists and now these albums are doing poorly. (Ask Mariah, Usher and others on how the well dried up oh so quickly) Ironically TI has always bragged they sells more albums than any other rapper well we will see what happens for paper trail, cause radio us where fans get their views and where there records get requested and later bought. Just my view, but I do support TI and wish him well.

TI has 1 year to complete 1000 hours of community service. Then he will be sentenced to serve an additional 1 year and 1 day in federal prison.
Its just like when Usher gets upset with people ask him about Tameka, no one really knows a damn thing about TIP and what he’s been through from growing up, to his father not being around, to his father passing, to his homies getting locked up, to his partner Phil being gunned down by the Nati boys, from losing a daughter, so no one can really judge or say he shouldnt have bough the guns when they really arent him and havent been in his mindset, I mean we all do some **** thats questionable, like i have my own problems, how imma judge TI on his when I be ****ing up left and right talking bout imma change it takes time whether people believe it or not, peope need to just mind their own business sometimes lmao keep it moving pimpin!

I actually think Tip is tired of answering the same question over and over at different interviews from camera to magazines. I think he wants to move forward with bigger things he has lined up in the future and just want the fans to continue to support him as they had before the hell broke loose.
(but i think honey dip annoyed him prior to her questions when she said
“well ok anyways” about the two questions she wanted to ask him and his response about answering them.
I wish TI all the success that God has for him. All of the situationS that he has been through is for a reason. You have to go through hell to get to heaven sometimes. TI will be a bigger and better becasue he has that neer give up attitude. But the situation will always come up cause the HATERS have to continue to do their job which is HATE!! God forbid if they stop doing that where would alot of people be :). Much Success to you babe.
I’ve never been a real fan rof T.I. and my dislike for him only grows with each stupid thing he says and does. I hope that now that he has been given yet another chance to turn his life around, he gets it together (FINALLY AND FOR GOOD) for the sake of his many children, and the many children who look up to him as a role model, but I don’t really have any faith that it will actually happen. You can lead a horse to water…
