Ever since Halle had her baby in March, she’s rarely cracked a smile. Why is that I wonder? She’s been through a succession of black men only to land the white man that she really wanted. I presume she has the baby that she wanted, albeit she’s a little darker than maybe Halle would have preferred. But all babies are gifts from God. Halle has a beautiful shape and flawless skin. So what’s her problem?
If I may, I think I know what the problem is. It’s that one drop of black blood in her. Biracial or not, she still carries the self-hate gene that’s been passed down through generations since our black descendants landed on these shores from Africa. Nothing makes some black women happy. Not the fact that they have the man of their dreams or the baby they always wanted or good hair or a fine figure. They’re going to find some reason to be unhappy because it’s in them to be miserable.
I hope Halle gets it together for her baby’s sake. Some babies can detect when their mother is miserable and it makes them cranky too. It would be a shame if Nahla Ariela Aubry grew up unhappy just because her mom can’t get her act together.

if i had camera folks snapping pic of me every damn time i came out doors i wouldnt smile either. i have seen those shows tmz and extra they shout nasy remarks at you to get a reaction because those pics fetch higher prices than one of her not smiling. a simple task like getting gas or buying shoes becomes a huge event and chore when you are famous.

First of all that question is not accurate because we’ve all seen Halle smile…a lot. Thing is though…it has to be more than DIFFICULT to be followed EVERYWHERE, EVERYDAY!

Could be the paps or the baby’s father isn’t around like he should be. He was around more before the baby and now he could be trying to land more modeling gigs. She could be very well tired having a baby is joyous but tiring especially when your use to doing for yourself for so long. That could be it because I don’t see a nanny or granny taking over, so Halle is doing what most hollywierd moms don’t, which is actually be with the baby.

Shoot, after I had my baby I didn’t smile for weeks. I was tired and she probably is too. It has nothing to do with self hate. I found those comments a little disturbing and hateful. I love my self as a black woman as do all the woman in my immediate circle. Honestly, your blog is the only one on the net I post to. I try to stay away from blogs such as P@%^$ H!?^@* because of the racial tone in their post, but to get the same thing here…? I just don’t know what to say.

The new mommy says a paparazzi photographer went too far to get a shot of the Oscar winner holding her infant daughter, trespassing onto her private property and snapping them hanging out in the backyard.
According to a report, Berry was upset when pictures of her holding the little babe showed up on the internet and in two celebrity magazines.
In a statement, Berry dismisses the claim that the photos were taken when she was “out and about in Los Angeles.”
Her lawyer said a criminal complaint has been filed and an investigation is under way.
He also said there are witnesses who saw the photographers in the middle of a “very blatant and invasive trespass.”
Yikes.

Thanks Sweet Mango - I’d be pissed too!!!! I have said before the photo thing of celebrity babies is WAY out of control. Sometimes folks forget - these are people with feelings and emotions. I mean DAMN, she just had a baby and WE all know you don’t feel like doing sh*t but laying around. Your tired and hormonal and just really don’t want to be bothered.
