When it came out that she lied nobody cared so why care now? The point I'm trying to make is that it is a sad time we are living in that these celebrity role models for our children feel they have to be a drug dealer, killer, gang banger or whatever to feel important. If BET and mainstream media wouldn't continue to perpetuate this persona he never would have had to lie. Okay he lied about it. So what. We all tell at least one lie everyday. We all leave work with that pen, sticky notepad, paper, white out, etc that doesn't belong to us. The real problem is not that he lied but that he felt he had to lie just to be accepted as a "credible" rapper. The problem goes deeper along with the fact that 78% of our children are born to unwed mothers and our society is okay with that. 50% of black men will not graduate high school on time and 60% of that 50% will go to prison. I know I'm going off on another tangent but damn he lied about an honest job. Apparently he was good at it based on the promotions, commendations, etc. Okay now that we know he lied does that make you like his music any less? If so why?
