Foxy Brown & Young Jeezy Cover XXL Magazine

XXL magazine’s 11th Anniversary issue is a double cover. XXL Photoshopped the hell out of the cover of rapper Foxy Brown. My question is why put an ex-felon has-been on the cover? Don’t they want to sell magazines?

On the other hand, Young Jeezy’s XXL cover is standard thug fare. The photographer chose to go with a close up of Jeezy’s face half-lit. The effect is dark and menacing yet arresting…. oops, did I say arresting?

Both of those covers are set-up…XXL used to be my favorite Hip-Hop mag but they have seriously went downhill.

Then again maybe they haven’t went downhill…maybe its this rap game that sucks b.cuz this is all they have to work with.
