Special delivery to Amy Wino’s house
As you know, British singer Amy Winehouse, 24, was rushed to a London hospital on Monday after she passed out from what was thought to be alcohol poisoning. Now Amy’s dad tells MTV that his daughter’s drink was spiked with ecstasy. Her dad has vowed to find the culprit who did this to his daughter Amy.
Paparazzi who depend on Amy to keep food on their table, snapped pics of a medical courier delivering supplies to Amy’s home today. The box is marked ‘URGENT BLOOD’, but it is highly unlikely that Amy is receiving blood transfusions at home.
It’s more likely that Amy’s drug rehab doctor (or a judge) has ordered regular drug testing on Amy in an effort to save her from herself. I’m speculating here, but the courier is probably at the house to pick up blood samples or urine and ferry them to a lab for testing.

I wondered why they would show this corier with the cooler on the back of his bike that clearly says “Urgent blood”. Doesn’t this violate the hippa laws? On the other hand, who would want to rob him (other than a vampier) knowing there is blood in there. Amy looks older than my 74 yr old dad.

HIPPA is only relevant in the USA.
Besides, it refers to the disclosure of linking someone to their past, present, or future medical condition, care received, and/or payment for that health care. So this wouldn’t be a violation as you don’t know WHO that stuff is for or WHAT it is being used for.

UMM, what bloody culprit? Wouldn’t it be logical that Amy is the culprit herself? Is her dad looking to be a reality show star or something, lately the statements and commented attributed to him in the media make him seem like he’s seeking for attention.

Just wondering why Kanye’s moms health after she past and before the autospy was made public. Wouldn’t that have violated Hippa or is it once you die it does not apply?

Only certain entities are required to comply with HIPPA: Health Care providers, Health Plans, and Health Information Clearinghouses.
So if the media or some random person leaks this info, they can’t be held liable under this act. If the hospital or a doctor did, then they can.
