Jay Z might lose Live Nation contract?

On Tuesday night, Kanye West brought out Jay Z during his concert at Madison Square Garden. The audience lost their simple minds as if Jay Z has been on hiatus for the last two years!

They didn’t act like they see this dude every day. And they damn sure didn’t act like this is the same fool who gypped them out of hundreds - no, thousands - of dollars for tickets to his “retirement” tour.

After rapping a few bars of a corny song Kanye wrote, he raps the opening lines to Oasis’ rock song “Waterfalls” - or whatever the title is. He did this for two reasons: to continue sucking up to the white media, and because he’s one of Hip Hop’s biggest coons, second only to Diddy.

Respected journalist Byron Crawford pointed out the hypocrisy of Jay Z bringing up old news that black folks don’t care about:

First of all, I can’t believe he included that line in the beginning about the guy from Oasis. That shit is old news at this point, let alone when the album comes out.

Every night, Jay Z gets on his knees and prays to the Master that he serves daily - not God - because Jay Z already has that covered. If you listen to his simple raps you’d think he was born in a manger in the middle of Marcy Projects.

Jay Z’s ego is so massive that he can’t fit common sense in edgewise. He doesn’t get it that he is being used as a pawn by the Masters he serves. Or maybe he doesn’t care as long as they continue to put him on display like a modern day King Kong.

In his post on XXL’s blog, Crawford points out that the deal Jay Z signed with concert promoter Live Nation might have fallen though. Says Crawford: “That’s what he gets for chasing every big payday some TI waves in front of that huge nose of his. As if he’s really that desperate at this stage in his career.”
