Obama Names Clinton As Convention Headline Speaker
Democratic presidential hopeful Barack Obama has named Hillary Clinton the headline speaker for the second night of the Democratic Convention later this month in Denver.
Clinton will speak on Tuesday, August 26 - the 88th anniversary of U.S. women’s right to vote.
This announcement is key for two reasons: 1) the man (or woman) Obama selects as his running mate will speak on the first night of the Democratic Convention. And 2) this shuts the door on any talk of Obama naming Clinton as his running mate.
Yeah, I know, choosing Clinton would sooth the savage beasts within the media — and a lot of blacks are praying that he will pick Clinton, too. But hopefully Obama is not that stupid.
Clinton is a snake in the grass waiting for an opening to strike. By giving Clinton the podium on the second night of the Convention, Obama closes that opening.

Obama is a very smart man or has smart people on his team. The brother know’s what he is doing and I can’t knock him. I wouldn’t trust Clinton either. Go Obama!!!!!!!!!!!! BTW, I love the chemistry between he and his wife. Talk about a strong sista!!!!

Obama only has Clinton speaking @ the convention so that the Clinton supporters will vote for him this coming election in November. It was allot of controversy when Clinton was losing the presidential race that allot of Clinton supporters were going to vote for McCain and that’s NOT what Clinton herself wanted to happen so to make the Democratic party strong and to unite that’s the reason why Clinton will be speaking at the convention we don’t NEED old azz McCain in the WH we need Obama.
Say wat u will, everybody now clinton and obama is a winning ticket. I dont’ think she’s going to be his running mate, but everybody knows its a winning ticket.

Agreed! The same-ones talking ish about the CLinton are the same ones that voted NOT once but twice for them to be in the White House *** Same Clinton supporters *** Same Obama supporters.
It’s all a game! If you think Obama and Clinton ain’t cool behind closed doors, you got snowed. I think he should bring Hillary on as a running mate, especially since Edwards is now offically out with his cheatin behind! LOL! Either that or bring Al Gore out of retirement.
