Those of you who are familiar with uber-publicist Benny Medina, will get a kick out of this video. Back in the day, Benny was a member of a group of spoiled Hollywood brats called Apollo. In those days, it was very chic for men to be ultra feminine and prance around in impossibly tight, shiny suits (Sean Combs didn’t start that trend).
Lipstick and mascara were the order of the day for male singers in the 70s and 80s. The entire industry was punked out (Sean Combs didn’t start that trend either).

Hey licia that joint is classic Im not mad atcha! I remember long ago Dre did some interview about how he first met Michel’le. He claimed Eazy brought her to the studio 1 day while they were recording an NWA album and how he thought she was a joke because of her high pitched voice,,,He claimed once she started singing he was sold…I remember thinking ok yeah thats a great story for tv and all but it’s a complete lie.lol. Michel’le was singing for you long b4 you were in NWA…I think he was trying to pretend that the world class wrecking crew never existed at that time.lol. I dont know where Michel’le is today, but Im still amazed that 1 can have the speaking voice of a 2 yr old, then turn around and blow like nobody’s business…
