So now LisaRaye is going to be an advocate for women of domestic violence, hence her story being published in Essence. Furthermore, I am sick of Essence celebrating these women and then later finding out that their situation ain't what they portrayed it to be (i.e. the whole Kim Porter/Sean Combs article). Wasn't Lisa and husband on the cover when they got married, now she's on the cover talking about how he kicked her ass.
