This girl is the real thing….!! BUT I’m confused…Sandra Rose…..?? Jazmine Sullivan has always been a thick girl…..she’s not gaining weight….she’s a thick wit it Sister…!! If anyone has seen her videos on Yout Tube from singing at the Apollo at a very young age and up until now….will see that there is no significant weight gain….she’s just a thick it Sister.

I hope she’s gets all the success owed to her…she’s been on the grind for minute…..this girl is a STAR !!!

I hated chrisette michelle’s songs too. She sounded like she was trying to immitate Billie Holliday or something like that. chrisette is cute, i don’t think her weight was the problem…it was that damn **** she was saning. garbage. Jazmine Sullivan is the truth. I love this song…OMG…its the ****! I love the reggae feel, but she’s not singing reggae. Perfect idea. The video is hot to me too. She has a lot of joints out there, but not all of them are hot. These are three of my favorites. This joker sangs her ass off…she ain’t got no ass right now.

I hate to admit it, but this is so true..if jasmine continues to gain weight, and if she doesn’t lose weight her career will stall. She needs to hurry and get a trainer. She’s really young and in her prime…she doesn’t need to be stick thin, but she needs to lose some weight for sure cause the industry, as shallow as it is, will not embrace her..and wait, before everyone goes saying how unfair that is, the fans, whether we admit it or not, are also shallow…..as much as i may say she’s good right now, and don’t need to lose anything, majority of the world will be frowning, and majority rules…she can decide she’s goode as she is and maintain her pride and integrity and STAY BROKE, or she can do what her job requires and maintain those standards for a bit until she’s garnered a well cemented reputation and then DO WHAT THE PHUCK SHE WANTS. The truth is, this beautiful woman’s complexion is already listed in the “con” section for her, so she has to go over and beyond….It’s just what it is…..How many big girls do you see the industry embracing…Jennifer Hudson is one, but her momentum is wanning, and i suspect her fame came mostly because of her movies, and not the singing…

I agree, she needs a stylist quick! I dont think J Records has given her any allowance outside of her recordings. Yall know how it is when people first start out. Remember Keyshia Cole? She looked like a busted Faith Evans when “I Changed My Mind” came out. Now she’s all glammed up.

Anywho, I’ve heard some of her other songs and she is a great artist. I think she will go far with the right management team. J Records has a history of not supporting their artists..outside of Fantasia and Alicia Keys (and sometimes Monica) they dont promote their artist. Everyone from Angie Stone, Deborah Cox and a few others have dropped.

I think what’s missing is some style! These random chic keep tryna step out but, they don’t realize that one of the main things about most successful entertainers that take them to the next level is they have a superb stylist. Think about it from the Supremes, to Beyonce & them gurls, Jill Scott, Lauryn Hill, India Arie, Chaka Khan, Alicia Keys, …just think of anyone that really made a lasting impression. It’s because they have the whole package great voice, great stage presence, and great style…it’s a requirement!!

Beyonce mama said it best in that she always made sure that DC stood out and that’s why she started making them costumes with glitter, rhinestones, crystals, etc (however gaudy they may have been it worked!)

This Jazmine Sullivan seems blah to me. I have heard this song a million times on the radio, and after seeing this performance today, see that she has a strong possibility of being a 1 hit wonder..maybe 2? But, she loked like she just walked out of Forever 21, and that’s not a good look for an aspiring singer who really needs to set herself apart from the crowd, especially being that she’s plus size! She’s very forgettable!! She really puts me in the mind of Jennifer Hudson, whic is another one that needs to step her Fashion Game up…really!!
