Congrats to TP, but I dont know if I can stomach anymore dry humor and unfunny foolishness. I’ve never understood why House of Payne was so dry. I do like the storyline between CJ and Janine, but the others are so no.

House of Payne isn’t funny to me at all, but I do give Tyler props for having the highest rated original cable series in history. I am looking forward to seeing “The Family That Preys” though!! Looks good!! Except for Tyler wearing that retarded looking wig slash Chia Pet on his head….sighhhh. Is it a running joke that every movie he does has to have some man with an f-ed up hairdo/hairpeice/wig?! Do you think it’s on purpose?? LOL!!

I love Tyler Perry most of his films have a profound message and even though they make you laugh there is also usually a deeper message. However I went to see Meet The Browns the opening weekend and I didn’t find it funny at all. It was rather whack and so is House of Payne. I wish him the best though and I hope this show is much better than the movie!!

that show is horrible. tbs must getting off dirt cheap with the cost of the production, cuz i dont get it. the browns looks bafoonish. time out for this nonsense black people.

now house of payne progressed a whole hell of a lot from the first 20 episodes or so until the later ones the writing camera work everything got muchhhhhhhhhhhh better still not one of my favorite shows but the show got much better as it progressed. now meet the browns movie was wack to me so i dont know about a television show with it

I am going to give it a try. I watched House of Payne and then stopped because I could not believe that it was not funny. Started watching again when they added Pookie, Peanut and the barbershop people. It is much better.

I’m not expecting much. That movie was supposed to be funny, but it wasn’t. Tyler has been given too much too fast. The writing and directing on his movies and House of Payne is horrible. He needs to hire some real professionals instead of trying to pocket all the money by doing everything himself. Black people need to stop settling for his garbage and then Hollywood will stop giving him money to feed us sub-par work.
