Michelle Obama had something very important to say last night (too bad I missed it)

Last night I decided to turn in early since nothing exciting was going on in ~~my bedroom~~ the world. Then I remembered it was the start of the (yawn, stretch) Democratic National Convention in Denver. But most importantly, Michelle Obama – the cog that keeps the Obama campaign wheel from falling off – would be making her stirring speech.

I was so stoked for her speech – mostly because I wanted to see what she was wearing. Anyway, I tuned in to watch Michelle’s speech and they kept saying she’s coming to the podium, but when I woke up, her speech was over and I missed it.

She did lovely.Young women do aspire to be someone like her and we haven’t see that in the WH much.

And Obama was looking good despite that he wasn’t there.It was cute how his daughters was somewhat giving him love during his speech.

Michelle was absolutely wonderful!..She represented us very well she was super articulate in the way she spoke and handled herself on stage, the girls were cute as well..I am very, very proud of Michelle, she brought a lot of tears to the women eyes in the audience, you could just see the sense of pride and admiration that they have for her..Barack should consider himself pretty damn lucky.

I didn’t see the speech, but I did here some excerpts this mornign on the ready and from what I heard, she really did an excellent job. I pray that things really pan out for the Obama’s. I love what they represent … WH or nto, great things are ahead for this family.

She was Poised Passionate and she brought her “A” game last night .. I watched the DNC on TV One .. Sen Kennedy appearence brought me to tears and Mrs. Obama made me swell with pride.

Being that Sandra isn’t an African AMERICAN she can’t appreciate the true magnitude of what’s her speech and his nomination means to The Born Raised and Black American.

It’s ok … Auntie .. most Brits are STILL pissed about the American Revolution

Her speech was awesome and hopefully it silenced all the haters who say she does not love her country. Young ladies, aspire to be more like Mrs. Obama and not these scantily clad, rump shakin’ hoochies out to make a dime by any means necessary. She was also flawless!!!! Her hair is gorgeous!

Michelle Obama is my new favorite black woman. I can actually look at her and say I get inspired. I used to get that feeling with Oprah, not anymore. Mrs. Obama makes me want to work harder in my career and my home life.

Yes, Michelle was AWESOME! I didn’t see it last night, but I watched it this morning. It was very moving and YES, she represented us well. I pray for the Obama family as I pray for you all.

U missed it, she was so empowering, This statement she made will stay with me for the rest of my lifeit goes something like this: ” seeing the world as it is or seeing the world it’s suppose to be”. Do you mean registering to vote? Because I have been a registered voter and voted in every election since I was 18. People talk about registering but it is actually going out to vote that counts. I think we are on the same page if that is what you meant

Sandra, I have never came on your site and disrespected you or anyone for that matter. When I read that comment about that you are glad that you are not a real journalist, you would be fired, I dismissed it as a joke.

Mrs. Michelle Obama and her husband, Senator Obama, and their children are just what our country need to get back on track. I am voting for Senator Obama, not because his skin is black, but because he is a REAL man and has family values and carry his self with pride and dignity.
