I don’t have any kids, but one thing I do know for sure is they usually grow up to disappoint you.
As a parent, you have your kids lives all mapped out. Their college funds are set and you even have the school all picked out.
Then they grow up and demand their college funds so they can travel the world. And, oh yeah, f*ck college!
Well, Angelina Zolie and her baby daddy, Brad Pitt think they have their daughter Zahara’s life all planned out. The couple plan to build a TB/AIDS clinic in Zahara’s homeland of Ethiopia and, get this: they want Zahara to run it when she grows up.
But what if home girl grows up and decides she doesn’t want to go back to Africa?
I can see the attitude in Miss Z. I’m sure she’ll be too busy running through a succession of white boys while snatching up the latest LV bags and Prada shoes.
You already know the paps will be doggin’ her every move.
Quite frankly, I can’t see Miss Z mixing up powdered milk for AIDS babies. But I could be wrong. I almost always am.

Kids do tend to stray, and this is a little far-fetched after raising the girl in hollywood and abroad she is not going to go and run no aids clinic in africa.

Then she’s BOUND TO BE A HIT here on Sandra Rose!
All she’ll need is a rapper baby daddy and some dirty clothes and she’s SR set fo life!
Also she needs to have somebody comb that girls hair she is not white and her hair be looking a fool, I don’t care she is not old enough to go natural, she is not a little white girl, that’s why I don’t agree with angeline going over their and adopting those kids, they are going to be so confused , yes a good life but at what price, she never combs that baby’s hair. black girls have to have their hair combed angeline.
@ HunE…she’ll be the latest to model the DIRTY COUTURE line started by SR’s personal favorite Zoe Kravitz
@ too sexy you took the words right out of my mouth! This is ridiculous and she should be allowed to chose the direction of her own life once she is old enough to make that decision. To me its seems as though they feel like they “bought” her and they “own” her so when she’s old enough we will ship her back and she’ll do what we want her to do because we “paid” for her! We took her out of something horrible and brought her into our fabulous life and this is how she can spend her adult life repaying us for all we’ve done.
[re-reading this post’s title]
Boy, Sandra sure knows how to title a story, don’t she!?
S h it, I was thinking she done tried to UN-adopt the poor baby!
She is going to grow up and want to kick her mom and dads ass for all the pics with her hair not combed. Notice how attractive and healthy all the adoptive kids are. Guess she did not want any ugly challenged kids.
I definitely tried to map out my daughter life and was pretty good at it until I had to go bra shopping for her at 7! Now I realize its my job to give her the tools she need to be successful and let her live her own life.
Ya’ll are killing me with this whole hair combing BS!
What do you think her hair would be looking like if she were still in Ethiopia?
Is she supposed to put some knockers and Goodie barrettes in her hair? That’s why there’s so many little bald headed Black babies now; they momma always trying to tie, slick, twist and clip that sh!t up!
I’m sure the least of that little girls problems in her wearing her hair natural!
lol! my girl Sandra…
@ Hun I was thinking the same thing…I was bout to have a damn fit til i read the post.
*cutting eyes at Auntie*
But I think that a parent shouldn’t plan their kids lives. As you get older you tend to take different directions. (My mom made me go to medical school and I didn’t want to I just did it for her, and I found myself being miserable. So I left and found my own path. Now I’m 21 with no kids, a 401 k, house, car, 3 bank acocunts and a bomb azz salary to go with it. i changed my path but it didn’t change the end results) Just raise your kids to have an open mind and follow their hearts/dreans even if it’s not the dream YOU wanted for your kids. But make sure you let them know if dat azz acts up you’ll change dat WILL at a heart beat and dey azz wnat get nuffin lol.
Followign someone elses dream can make u miseravle. I feel like if you do something u don’t want to do u r destined to fail.

Dang girl! Why it got to be all that? Anywho, if they raise her to be charitable, she will be charitable. If they raise her with an awareness of her Ethiopian roots she will take pride in it and want to help her people. You are absolutely right, if they raise her around materialistic rich kids, no matter how hard they try to avoid it, she will take on those values. I got a funny feeling their kids will be what they want them to be for the most part. Look at Princess Di’s boys. Someone did a fantastic job with them. They give back like their mama did and they aren’t afraid to go to war. You can bet Harry’s rich buddies were not by his side when he went to Afganastan (sp?). The princes are proof you can raise your kids to think of something other than themselves if you give them a good example to follow.
@hune
but she’s not in ethiopia, and how many little girls you know running around here with their hair not combed, (besides the neglected kids), it doesn’t have to be twist and slicked, but it has to be neat and clean and if your hair done then why your kids hair can’t be combed. I just don’t think it looks nice and that is what i’m talking bout that little girl is not white and angeline is not combing her hair cuz she don’t know how or what to do ,bottomline,
she could put headband on it and let it go but just sticking up. If you bring your kids up to your jobs or family members house or even their grandmother’s house with their hair sticking up then you be all kinds of a bad mother. this is america.
I think parents should bring their kids up the right way, talking and being their for them. and prepare them for life, and that’s all you can do, they will make their mistakes, but I think our jobs as parents are to bring them up the correct way, teachings, because I know for me I strayed but those teachings always came to me when i was in diff situations, I would here,
Don’t be a follower, don’t do cuz your friends doing it.
don’t try anything talk to me first, I had my first taste of alchol with my dad.
be honest
I mean i can remember like it was yesterday, if you teach your kids you will see the end results, it might not be right when the first get out,but it will happen.
max hair looks awful too.

I forgot she has so many……pax i meant. lol
@anna is their a max? lol
i love all of the jolie-pitts.
i want to talk about whycome the gas has gone up here in raleigh $1.18 within the past few hours (from $3.51 to $4.69 and climbing…the governor has had to enact the price gouging law) b/c of a storm in texas. we don’t even GET our gas from texas. our gas here in nc comes from louisiana.
oh well. keep the faith. pray for the folk in h-town. pray for me too b/c ike came on a non-pay week and now gas is damn near $5 a gallon…….

The first kid she adopted right after divorcing Billy Bob his name is Mattox or something like that. The boys are Max and Pax.
It appears that they are just cooling out at home. I have seen pictures of Z going to school and her hair is combed. I don’t see what the big issue is with the hair. Rich people usually don’t pay attention to clothing and hair as much as poor people who always feel they need to have name brand items to validate them as a person. If Angie put a perm in her hair people would have something to say about that. Z will be just fine when she grows older because she will have the money to do what she wants to do. Kids learn from the parents if the household is in a shamble the kids grow up in a shamble. Sometimes the shamble makes them better people. No one should map their childrens lives out for them. Look at their strongest abilities and enhance them. Maybe Angie and Brad have noticed that Z likes the medical field and decided to set her up for that. Didn’t Ashanti, Bey, Usher, Ciara, Monica and A. Keys parents notice their talents and set them up for future success? Sandra thats call support not mapping out the life. Maybe Z is faster than the rest of the kids and shows her abilities now. You all know we are naturally smart.
LOL @anna and toosexy…..
is it max? pax? damn they just got so MANY now…
z is a cutie. i heard on tom joyner that they are getting better with her hair and use carol’s daughter on her hair. said they asked some “friends” and that was recommended. you know dag on well will and jada were like “that baby’s hair is jacked. here use THIS”

So true. I fought my mother tooth and nail as a teen, but by the time I was even 19 the light finally came on. Homegirl was right about EVERYTHING and her values are my values.
And if she is going to become a doctor later in life Africa and Ethopia (sp) is the best place to start her career. She would have a hard time in America like most black people. They are setting her up as a chief of staff.
I know a black female doctor that worked over here for years and everytime the Cheif of staff resigned she would apply they never gave her the position. Well needless to say this year she got a position as Chief of staff in Dubi.
kwallace
That gas thing sounds straight crazy. I’m in Charlotte and yesterday when CNN warned that gas prices would probably go up because of the hurricaine I considered filling up, but I have enough to last until AFTER the hurricaine is long gone.
I’m getting tired of them acting like every hurricaine is Katrina when even Katrina wasn’t that bad. The broken levies is what took down New Orleans, not Katrina.
@anna yeah. i work at the newspaper and our retail reporter sent out a note that she had an inside tip that most of the stations were getting ready to raise the price.
so everybody hightailed it outta here and went to go fill up. i already had got some yesterday so i was straight. i didn’t even need any but something told me to (i know how crazy it is around here with the word “hurricane”) how about right after lunch people were coming in saying it had gone up to $4.69 and as high as $4.99 for premium.
a tomfoolery mess.
It’s Maddox, Shiloh (bio), Zahara, Pax, and the twins. Yeah, I know..I know..but Angelina is my girl-crush!
@bird: i been up here for all this time and you are in charlotte? hey queen city! now that the raleigh and charlotte observers are owned by the same company i come to charlotte alot more than i used to.
@candi apple
i don’t want to start nothing but that was really stupid what you said about the poor people.
so do only poor people get the hair done
so all these rich people are wearing what.
I for one do not comb my baby’s hair to validate her as a person,I think woman should be well groomed and to prepare her for that she needs to know that women don’t walk around with their hair standing on the top of their head, rich or not. I don’t care if am at home, I will get up and groom myself if that just means brusing it and putting it in a ponytail. It doesn’t matter what style you wear it has to have some maintanence. I don’t care what kind of money i have i will go broke before my kids look neglected and I don’t believe in all that name brand stuff either! just as long as you neat and clean.
First of all, her hair does not have to be slicked and shinned and glued to her scalp to be combed. Folks need to elevate their minds - those are her natural curls and that’s how her parents choose to comb her hair. I mean, what do you want, a baby lace front?
I think Z just may surprise you all and GASP - just grow up to be normal. Say what you want about the Pitts, but they are hands on with their kids and seem to have their best interests at heart. If she grows up to be a philanthropists and a humanitarian like her parents, she could run the hospital/clinic and not be a doctor.
Bird is right - if she is raised the way they are, she will feel some ties to her homeland and WANT to help. We got plenty of wanna-be celebs, famous for nothing, who run around with white boys.
And yes, I’m talking about a SR favorite!
If this is true…I mean, make some provisions for your child…but don’t think you’re gonna plan their entire life out for them. You already know, once you tell them what they’re GONNA do, they’re gonna WANNA do something else. That said, I can’t Brangelina. Homewrecker. Still wishing for an Aniston vs. Jolie beatdown. =)
Once the little girl is old enough to ‘understand’, she’ll be begging to get back to Africa…
Where’s the baby they actually conceived? Why are they profiling the children that were all obtained through false notion (adoption and fertility magic)? And why does everyone think Mattox has a twin - yall are being biased thinking all Asians look alike
#21 - blame the validation on poor people who knew they’d be treated better if they were well in appearances. You think it’s new news to dress up when you go to a job interview? Remember how many stories you’d hear about our elders getting sharp just to go get a job in the fields? A lot of our habits (good and bad) are deeply ingrained for a multitude of reasons.
Going on a job interview and doing something right with your life is alot different than hanging on a street corner rocking Gucci. Everthing has more side to it than we many people give credit for and I am aware of that but, constantly picking on this girls hair instead of looking at how they are educating her are two different topics all together. Their priorities are in a better place than someone picking on her hair like he hair will make her a better person when she grows older.

This pic is of many the family took that day. Shilo is in a diff pic holding one of the babies.
yall killing me I’m sure angie is educating the girl and stuff, but some of yall get on here and really forget real life. because i wonder how many of your kids right now hair is not combed? I’m not saying this is going to ruin her life but if you have a little black girl then her hair needs to be combed like all the little black girls we know in our families and our friends families, I mean sometimes people really leave reality on the internet.
and i am not poor.
@toosexy no honey what you said was ignorant and plain stupid. This is one aspect as to why black men and women, Black women and Black women don’t get along they dont know how to communicate without name call and then want to say I dont mean no disrespect.
You cannot over look people wanting to be fashion plates but their lights are cut off. All I am saying is that the priorities are in the wrong places. People would rather have Z looking good at all times (which no one can do) than to know she is receiving a good education.
What about the women who wear their hair natural should they be offended by the post. Because at times it appears their hair is not combed.
Also, she doesn’t have to become a doctor but its nice to know that they see her potiental to want to help other people. I used doctor as an example not to say she was going to become a doctor. She could run a clinic maybe because she runs the house hold. Who knows besides they know her best because they live with her.
Note to Angelina ” you can’t live your life vicariously through your children”.
Peachizz: Is she really trying to live thru her children! I mean seriously, first off, let’s look at the source! CNN Sandra Rose is not! And secondly, they haven’t said they would disown her or be upset if she didn’t. I’m sure their hearts are in the right place. They want her to stay connected with her homeland and give back. Seems like some of the SR family has parent/child issues!
Now you know there are many nappy headed black girls and boys running around in the streetz.. Don’t act like every household has their kids on point. That is the reality.. The reality is that Angie and her family live very different from us and Z is not from a regular house hold that is reality if you lived in reality you would understand the difference between her life and the regular black household as you put it. And the reason most black women perm their hair and don’t wear it natural is because black kids in the neighborhood would tease them and call them blackie and nappy headed hoes, Yeah. thats the reality. The reality is that black people need to stop judging people on appearance. OOHH she is fat, too skinny, She bald headed, look at her shoes.. Tell me thats not the reality of the black community. The reality is that people need to start looking pass that bull crap… The internet is a place for all to meet rich, poor and inbetween my world may be different from others but that doesnt make it a fantisy (sp).. maybe people need to look past their hood and start reading the internet a little better.
I just wanna know why is that child have blond steaks?
well i said i heard they are doing better about the baby’s hair. obviously some of their black friends told them her hair was not up to par. see #22.
my daughter used to go to an all black school (charter) and they actually had to send a note home that basically said take pride in your children and stop sending them to school with dirty uniforms and uncombed heads. no lie. not making it up.
i combed my baby girl hair this morning and every morning. i am blessed b/c my oldest is 13 so if she see her sister looking like a butta head aand i am busy she helps her out with a hug and some pink oil moisutrizer and some ponytail holders….
and i am poor
@candi apple
I didn’t call you out your name,
and to me your the one taking it to a whole nother lever, just because you comb your child’s hair means you poor & worrying about their looks more than the education is just a stupid comment to me. noone was talking bout dressing that’s a whole nother discussion to me. just because your child’s hair is combed that means their lights are off, but i’m sorry you sound like a person who sterotypes to me. I comb my little’s girl hair or keep it braided because guess what you can’t send your children to school with their hair sticking up on top of their heads. also i was taught good hygiene meaning a woman is to take care of their selves , meaning hair , nails , body and skin , teeth, Your making it seem like i said something off the wall. Would it mean that i am more worried about my childs education if i was to send her to school with her hair not combed, because i go out my way everyday to send her to a good school which inconvienences me but for to have a good education i will. so again what you said made no sense to me. I understand the priorities thing but this has nothing to do with priorities. I wonder is your hair done now or your daughters?
@candi
yea are kids running around like that, some are neglected. Keeping a nice appearance doesn’t mean you don’t want a good life for you or your child, my child is 7 she does not have a perm and her hair is nappy until it’s washed and braided or washed and combed, I mean white girls comb their hair, mexicans comb their hair. all people comb their hair that’s why I don’t understand this post really at all. yall trying to make it seem like if you comb your child’s hair your priorities are not in check. I wonder if you guys hair are fixed right now and what that means about you as a person and parent.
@candi
who are you referring to when you say look pass the hood. I see your funny. so I live in the hood cuz i comb my babies hair. and I paint her little toes, and she wears earrings, and I also tell her how to clean her coot and talk to her about her female parts that are starting to sprout. I guess me teaching her how to be an educated clean and well kept little girl is being hood and means i’m poor.
@candi also
who has the priorities in check cuz white people comb their kids hair too, and we love to think white people are the ones doing everything right, they come this hospital with their little girls hair in pig tails or cut , and their little boys with the jonas brother hair cuts. but they don’t care neither do they, or what, cuz everything white people do is correct huh?
Dang, this hair thing done took over the whole blog. Shoot let me get a piece. Hair is no bid deal. Sometimes you see Miss Z with a ponytail or what have you. I’ve never thought Angie was neglecting her in that regard unlike Seal and Heidi’s poor boys whose hair I don’t think has ever seen a comb. Anyway, I am a person who is just naturally into hair styling. Show me once and I’ve got it. I kept my 16 year olds hair fly when she was little. But guess what? When it came time for her to do it herself she didn’t give a damn. She even let me give her a very low fade once because she didn’t want to comb it. Then she wanted to grow a fro, but didn’t want to comb that either. Finally I made her get sista locks and you know what? She won’t even run her fingers through those to make them neat. My point is, not everyone cares about hair no matter how much we want them to and even though Z’s hair gets unrully we all know the girl is going to be straight up fly when she gets older so why worry about it?
@bird
yes, but candi is saying like their is a problem with combing your kids hair like your priorities are out of line, and made it like your lights off and stuff that didn’t have anything to do with what i was saying and I just believe in keeping a little girl nice and neat and groomed, if she grows up and do whatever that’s fine, but as a child it’s my responsiblily to take care of her, I am grown and i can’t walk up in my job with unkept hair it’s in the code of conduct. I wasn’t making a big deal I just have seen her a lot of places with her hair not combed and angeline must have felt the same way to ask somebody even heidi she has no clue what to do with that boys’ hair that’s not a crime, if i had a white daughter i would ask somebody how to maintain her hair since i’m not familiar with that, some white people have to wash everyday.
@toosexy.. I think you have the sillest and most ignorant post on the board so your saying means nothing to me. And is a person dirty because their hair is nappy. And yes I am on a different level because I know the difference between looking past someone hair and to look at the person. I will always be on a different level than you because I see a broader world than what her hair looks like.
I didn’t say you live in the hood I said look past the hood because thats where your mantality is… Poor in the sense that Joli and clan have more money and think differently than most people. They are least worried about the childs hair. She has traveled to world more over as a child than most people will in a life time (and thats a true story). I’ve lived in a hood and thats why I got out due to the ignorance. Yeah, I teach my nieces and nephews to brush and comb their hair but at the end of the day when they get home their hair will appear to have never been touched by a brush. So when they are snapping Z getting off of a private jet coming from Italy, paris or Africa her hair is least important. And all you can do with your ignorance is say look at her hair. And all of the topic’s I discuss go hand in hand. Appearance is more important to most black people instead of education, business and ownership. Every other race is proud and will make sure the kid is feed before they buy a comb. Read for comprehension and stop being a angry black person focusing on the wrong Sh it….
@toosexy, I am not talking about white kids I am talking about the top Jolie’s kids……. And yeah if you look at black people their priorties are screwed up and you know its true. These things go hand in hand no matter what spin you try and put on it… Yes, black people would rather look good than be responsible. You can try and clean it up but it wont make a rainbow.
Yes, black people will buy a gucci suit instead of keeping their lights on its a reality. You feel guility because you took it personal.. Don’t take it personal look at the race and you will see every bit of what I said to be true.. its not personal unless you do it yourself

I do hate that they don’t comb that childs hair. She is going to be tender headed when they finally put a comb through it. No need for any feed back ppl. Just my opinion. Bird some kids don’t like their hair combed as in you daughters case. Usually when the girls start to get interested in boys it does change and they will take pride in doing their own hair as in my then 18 yr old. Before that she was more of a tomboy. Ppl think my daughter grew boobs, hips and a butt over night. She was just hiding enjoying being a tomboy.
@candi
so your saying just because she is getting on a jet and have money it doesn’t matter, to me your the one with self hatred if black and ignorant if white. but i won’t argue any longer, cuz i know i am one black woman who strived to get where i am and want the best education for my children and will own my own home soon. so to me your point is still dumb. I didn’t say anything about appearance being more important that any of that, but that’s how you taken it. so to me you must be either of the two to say such untrue things about black people. like we want nothing. Yes some PEOPLE do spend their money or the wrong things, and don’t have their priorities in line. all people, but to want i said had nothing to do with that. and evidently she was caring about her hair to ask what to do with it, so maybe she is the one with the hood mentality. or what ever you said. I will continue to send my little girl to school with her hair combed whether i was rich or not. and my boys will continue to have hair cuts ,i like well groomed men and that’s what i’m raising. you took the post and ran with it in a hundred directions.
@candi but what does gucchi have to do with combing your child’s hair, that’s what i’m trying to get you to see, you went left. but it doesn’t matter, I see just as many screwed up other people , yes we blacks have our problems but so do every other race, i am just not into bashing my own constantly yes we have problems but i’m not blinded by others.
Angie needs to adopt another child. Z has noone that looks like her in the family. Thats why she got Pax, he looked like Max. She knew Shilo would have someone that looked like her being they are the biological parents.
Anna
People call me crazy for asking for problems, but I live for the day when some boy gets hold of my daughter. She’s a nerdy, oreo chick with boobs people pay for. Hell, I’d pay for em. But what boy is going to “court” her with her hair looking all crazy?
toosexy
Now you know people have to comb their children’s hair as a part of daily hygiene. I don’t know why yall are even having that argument. Sure some people in the hood have it twisted. I had to tell my play niece that if she brought her baby daughter to my house one more time with yet another pair of brand new Tims when she hadn’t gotten her a car seat yet I was going to scream. I think what Candi Apple may have meant is that Angie likely does comb Angie’s hair, but the style is not fly enough for ghetto-type folks. Either way, I still don’t get what the argument is about.
@bird yea i’m throw cuz it’s useless, now i feel you on that. I am not that type of name brand person , have never been in no jordan line, but i still comb my baby hair. so that just was plain stupid to me. but anyway you right!
everybody have a great weekend. i will be leaving shortly , also be safe it’s dangerous out here,no matter where you live.
I say let your natural hair shine Z!
I wash my hair towel dry and go and let my beautiful curls go where they may!
When it rains, I am dancing in that sh*t. I aint worried about my perm damn it.
Some years ago some chick said I needed to comb my hair because it was natural. I was amused. Why? Because it’s good to be free and not constrained by society.
For me, the kinkier the better. The bigger the better. I want my afro so big it aint even funny. I call my **** a halo lol
@seattle slim
that’s good girl i’m glad you doing that, but your grown also. and i think it’s not so much society , I grow up in america and so did my mom and her mom, so really we are americans. and if someone wants to get their hair permed i don’t think they should be knocked for it and vice versa.
@toosexy… Wearing gucci does have everything to do with it because its still apart of appearances. If you noticed I never said white people didn’t have to I said Z lives a different lifestyle and getting off a private jet after flying to different countries makes a difference. They worried about pap’s following them, they worry about security, they worry about the kids being kidnapped, they worry about the route to their hotel or villa. I didn’t say it was ok for white people. You are blind and not focused on the reality of my post. You took it personal. You must make sure you have Gucci in your closet thats why your focused on the words instead of the meaning. There in nothing wrong with you having Gucci as long as you take care of your children first. You must by your kids Gucci too to keep up with the rest of your neighbors. Thats why you are offended you can have Gucci its ok. I have alot of name brand **** too. But, I also own property and have a business outside of my regular 9-5. I make sure the children around me are well educated and well fed. I don’t really worry about their hair style and if it has a perm or not. People with natural hair comb their hair and perhaps Z’s hair is in a natural state even for a child. But, remember when everyone is wearing Lace front blonde wigs and always have their weave in place don’t talk about it being that Z’s hair bothers you so much. Because thats where this dumb **** comes from. Black women spend millions on hair care products and don’t generate any income from it. But, remember you were the one who said she should comb her hair to your liking everyday. Don’t clown E.V.E for wearing a blonde wig or any other regular person running around with that crap in their hair. Because you would be the first to say ohh you are nappy headed comb your hair. You are tramatized and color struck not me. I never mentioned it to be a problem for Z’s natural look you did. I mentioned gucci and lights that bothered you so much. Priorities again, your worried about a comb and brush and not that she is a regular black baby with regular black hair that is not alway manageable.
I am supposed to run in 100 directions because every story has more sides than one. Still focused on the wrong sh it. Ignorance is bliss and I will let you continue to lavish in it
If kinky work for you Seattle - that’s great.
Kinky don’t work for everybody. It just makes my baby cry when i try to come her hair. My baby’s hair is so rough that even with grease and Goodies pony tail holders, it still look like Zahara’s hair after about 2 hours. Even then, i still think she’s the prettiest and smartest thing walking.
This post was about planning this child’s future not her hairstyle.
@candi never owned gucchi and don’t worry bout it but if i could afford it one day then i would. but now just trying to stack paper. girl you are really crazy your making no sense on that note i’m done. evidently you never read my post i said i don’t buy name brands. and i’m glad you doing so well now you can look down on folks , i said nothing about a perm or nothing but go on and try to make your ish right. my daughter does not have a perm, but do i comb her hair yes. owning a business and property doesn’t make you no better than anybody else seems like you have self esteem issues do you think your better cuz you own businss and property do you need that to make you feel like someone girl gone. i’m done.
oh, and you the one own all the name brands girl you funny! looks like you need some of your own advise. i’m done really now. will not respond
@mississipi
now you know you don’t want nothing for your kids or yourself since you combing that babies hair. I mean your trying to keep your little girl’s hair neat and combed could only mean your from the hood and don’t want nothing but name brands. what about her education? lol appearance is not everything.
I don’t have any kids and I can afford it… when I have children if I my life style will change. I will begin to focuse more on setting up educational funds and I will begin to focuse on world travel instead. But, right now yes dear I am enjoying life and having fun doing so. In fact I just came back from Dubi with nappy hair and all..
Combing your babies hair has nothing to do with not wanting more for your children but, dont pick on someone child who lives differently. Hair has nothing to do with the person or education. But, the mantality does…
TooSexy,
You right they shouldn’t be knocked but they shouldn’t knock folks who have their hair natural which I don’t think anyone here did.
I know it comes off “elitist” or what have you, but when you go natural and stay that way and truly embrace it, it’s like you reclaim a part of you that you lost growing up in a world that tells you everyday that you’re ugly unless you’re straight. It’s peaceful.
I have two biracial sons with curly or wavy hair. I comb it but one ends up with a fro hawk and the other a mini fro. It is what it is. When a brother told my bf that my baby had good hair I almost sh*t bricks.
@toosexy… I don’t look down on you and I love that you are creating your own way.. I started out like that… I don’t look down on anyone and I help people. Don’t be angry at my success. I applaud you and your drive God bless you. Back to the negative mantality. You see my post and notice that I said I own **** and automatically you downed me like you did with everything I said so who is at fault me or you? I just stated the way Z’s hair looks does not matter is she well taken care of.. Do you hear stories about Angie throwing her in a dugon or treating her different because she is the only black child in the family.. no.. so the hair does not matter… and everything I say is true… don’t hate on my success be happy for me. I am happy that you live your life by trying to accomplish goals while taking care of your kid/s.
Okay, I’m not trying to be rude or crude but why are people arguing about another person’s child’s hair? That baby look like she may have just woke up with her gown on. So who goes to bed with their hair perfect? Or better yet, who wakes up with their hair all perfect?? Leave this child alone please and let her be a child. We don’t know what goes on in these people’s household and how they care for her. I wish somebody would try to tell me how to dress my child and comb her hair.
@Always…. You are correct in so many ways…. thank you

Not as sensitive as CHILD SUPPORT (yesterday’s hot topic)!
@Hune
lol To be honest with you I started to type Dead Beat Daddy’s, Halle’s Baby to name a few I’m just didn’t wanna go there. The comment section is str8 fired when those things come up…
To set the record straight, Angelina has purchased land for each adopted child in their name, in their native country. She mentioned what she & Brad wish for their children to do, but ended the comment stating that the children will probably have their own plans. Misquoting someone is how rumors get started.

Thanx for the info. I do appreciate what Brad and Angie are doing. I just want to know if they can adopt me and fly me around the world? LOL. How does the song go. “How do rumors get stated, their started by jealous ppl, stop spreading those rumors around stop spreading those lies. I do on a real note get mad that Z’s hair is never combed. I had a white mom and when I look at my childhood pics I cringe. For me my not combing of the hair is more personal than how much money they have. I had different hair than one of my sisters and she always got a press and curl and I got to look like Seals kids. Curly mixed hair is in now though, right?
When she first adopted Maddox, she bought a house and land in the jungles of Cambodia in his name. She then turned it in to a wildlife preserve and paid the locals with cattle and such, not to cut down the jungle (a huge issue in the country due to poverty). She said back then, that it was his, and he would be responsible for maintaining the foundation when he grew up. That way he would always have ties to Cambodia. They used to vacation there as well -this was before Brad.
I suspect she means the same for Zahara.
And as someone who just started working at an “organization” that deals with people who have a ton of money, you realize that the wealthy set up Trusts, Foundations and businesses, with the expectation that their kids will run it one day. More often than not they do.
The wealthy plan/guide their kids future, they don’t rely on the guidance counsellor at school. So don’t knock her telling the world that Zahara will be running a medical clinic when she’s older, that may be a huge charitable foundation by the time ‘Zee’ is 18.
And why can’t she multi-task??? We all have passionS. Some of us are lucky to have a career that allows us to practice what we have been formally educated and also have either the time and/or the money to participate in philanthropy. Zahara has been given the opportunity and the tools to pursue a career and philanthropy! Godspeed Z!
There is a CNN Angelina Jolie interview where she is speaking on the children and she stated the following: Z is the house ruler, she is the leader, the loudest, has the most personality and a daddy’s girl. Technically she is Brad Pitt’s 1st baby, Mad was already a toddler. She stated that the day starts with getting the children fed & dressed. Afterwards by the time she & Brad are ready, the children have restyled themselves and each other. Anyone with children may have experienced “I can do it myself” kid. This explains, Z’s often uncombed hair. What impresses me the most is that they are doing things their way without caring what anyone thinks. An ABC interviewer told Angelina that some call her crazy because she has been writing large checks from her own money when she visits devastated countries for the UN, she answered that she thinks its crazy that others who can afford to won’t. All of her UN trips are sponsored from her own money, unlike other ambassadors who are funded by taxpayers. With all of the things to fault someone for, it is poitnless to find fault in someone who is trying to do good for others. Ask Wyclef about how much she and Brad have done with him and for him in Haiti, you will hear much praise. There are so many other things to focus on, to find fault in her, her life, her choices and her children is wrong. Why not focus on encouraging people to VOTE!!!
Angie can write a check her ass can cash. I know that who ever gets up first feeds bathes and dresses the kids. The media can make or break you. With all the money they have and all the places they live notice how they are not photgraphed with thier (posse). The only person you see a pic with ther body guard is Bey. Angie does have nannies for the kids and body guards. She does have an agreement with the paps (for the money shot) as long as they do not include the nanny or the body guards. I don’t care how much money one has, a groomed person that lives in a houshold with even a little money takes prde in a shower, shave and combing their hair. Look at the pic, Z has her hand(finger) on her moms hair and a pic is worth a thousand words. Z is saying I want my hair like yours. This is a giving and beautiful family and they do more than there part to make the world better, they just don’t talk about it but they do it. This is a gossip site to talk smack while hidden behind a computer. After my mom died some other white woman foud it in her best interest to cut my sisters hair and have a nappy afro. Not a good look, if you choose a child by adoption or by the father of the kids leave our hair alone or thirst it. My name is Anna and I approve this endorsement.
