As I told you earlier, Ciara (or her camp) attempted to put out a false rumor that she was suing VIBE magazine for airbrushing her drawls off of her for the cover of VIBE.
But her own people within her camp told me that the Ciara wasn’t suing anybody.
VIBE’s editor in chief, Danyel Smith, says not only did Ciara pose nude, but it was Ciara’s idea to do so:
“It’s just dramatic. I’m actually really sad. Almost any photo you see on the cover of Vibe or any magazine is airbrushed [to some degree]. What I was thinking of doing, actually, was releasing the unretouched photos [on Vibe’s] website, so people can see what the hullabaloo is all about.”“I have so much respect for Ciara and Ciara was so happy when she pitched this idea to us, and the photos are actually striking and beautiful.”
Smith clarifies that the magazine has not been sued by the singer. “Vibe would never put anybody out there - man, woman or child - in some way that they did not agree to be. We have no history of doing that.”
So there you have it. Ciara is on a slow spiral downward and she’s picking up speed with every dumb decision she makes regarding her career. The dumbest decision, of course, was dumping her manager who never would have allowed the VIBE cover fiasco to happen in the first place.

Actually this was a rumor that some idiot started, just like the whole Ciara was born a man mess! I swear you can say anything on post it on a website, and people run with it without getting the facts. Ciara never even said she was going to sue vibe, and the editor said that out her own mouth. I have the magazine and she looks beautiful inside the cover as well. I can’t wait for Ci to drop fantasy ride in December, and everybody gonna be jocking her as they always do when she comes out.

I like Ci-Ci too she was so different in the beginning. I also like her last album. she should have kept doing what she was doing musically. She had a following and the fan base would continue to increase as time progressed. She is ahead of many females in the game. Ci-Ci thank yourself for setting you back 10 years. Your fan base adored you the way you were and did you notice that Curtis is pushing his career to the blackhole zone. Don’t follow him.
Cooincidently I just finished reading that Vibe article like a half hour ago. That whole lawsuit thing was a blog rumor that there is no way Ciara or her camp started considering she has done another scantily clad photoshoot. Miss Ciara is trying to reinvent herself so that she is seen as more of a grown woman. There is nothing wrong with that, but I’m not sure if taking off your clothes is the way to do it.

i already commented on this story when it first came out. all i have to say is, ciara had her own style. no other female could do what she is doing and that is dancing her butt off. i know she wanted to change her tomboy image to a more sexy image but not buck a$$ naked!! yes she has a nice body and proud of it, but it should be for your man to see naked only not every man in the world. everyone keeps saying 50 is behind this, but i doubt it. my reason is she admitted she was the one to suggest nudity in the video with 50. i wonder how her parents feel. i know she is grown but i still wonder what their feelings are about this. i don’t think this will hurt her career, because she has a decent fan base. if 50 is really with ciara and he did suggest this it shows what little respect he has for her as her man.

It wasn’t a good look. She’s built up like my 11-year-old. She doesn’t pull off “SEXY” very well. She just looks like she’s trying too hard.

She has her azz on on multiple shots inside the mag as well. There’s also a naked pic of one of them UN-Pretty Ricky boys.

There are many ways to reinvent your image without going directly to nudity. If she wanted to come across as more mature or more feminine, she could first start with much different material, change her hair/clothing going directly to nudity is just a cheap ploy and won’t make any positive impact in the long run.
@ Bay: yep, its called e-rewards. i think i received an invite to join through borders. i wish they had more of a variety for e-cash redemption though.
