To those of you emailing me about that R. Kelly interview and wondering why I didn’t post it - you should know by now that I have no love for that pedophile.
Were it not for 12 cowards in Chicago, his ass would be in jail right now! Big ups to DJ Funk Master Flex for having the stones to speak out against this pervert! Hopefully this means Flex and other DJs won’t be spinning any of R. Kelly’s music on Hot 97.

Well thank goodness R-uh went on BET and flaunted his love of teenagers. Had he not Flex would have continued to support him. He made every DJ and every fan that continues to buy his music and concert tickets look like fools.
Now if only we could get other stars to stop working with him we might be getting somewhere.

he killed me with that comment. the interviewer was on power 1051 in ny and he said that alot of questions he asked him his handlers were like dont answer that dont answer that. he said he was lucky he got those on. so if you cant answer this or that……. i have questions.
R. Kelly is guilty the interview says it all. Flexx just confirmed what the industry knows already. If he felt so strongly he should have testified by I am glad he spoke out about it. His mouth does not matter its the words that come out of his mouth that counts.
Tourre(sp?) did a terrible job at interviewing RKelly. When he hosted that townhall meeting about video’s and such he was hitting hard at David Banner and Nelly about grown paid video h*** dancing nasty. For this interview he didnt get anything revealed and he let RKelly slow ass run the interview. “what do you mean by teenager?” WTF !!!!!
My question is, does R. Kelly have daughters? If so, has his dumb a$$ wife gotten a court order stating that all visits must be supervised? Pedophiles don’t discriminate and often have children for the sole purpose of having live-in victims.

If he really felt this way he’d have stop spinn’n R Kelly’s crap when he first viewed that tape if he’s such a man of his word/conviction as this video protrays him to be. All of Kelly’s talent went out the window when I saw the tape 6/7 YEARS ago. It really shouldn’t have taken Tourre’s(sp) interview to “re-expose” R. Actually I never like R-Kelly even when he first came on the scene. I have never in my years purchased an R. Kelly Album. I always thought he was a perve.. True story.. Honestly if it weren’t for people blasting his songs out of every car or park I would never heard of him.

Guilty as charged. I purchased that CD and everytime I listened to it I tried to justify my actions. I could never just enjoy the CD. I was always thinking and feeling guilty. Worst of all, I thought nothing of the fact that he was dating Aaliyah. I really don’t know what was going through my mind at that time for me to think it was ok for him to be dating a 15 year old, but I vividly recall that I was ok with it. God PLEASE forgive me.

I used to like Kelly when he was with Public Announcement, but once that stuff came out about him marrying Aaliyah, I was THROUGH. It’s hard for radio stations and DJs not to play him, as unfortunately so many people still love and wanna hear R’s music. It’s hard not support him, at least indirectly, as he’s on damn near everyone’s CD in some capacity. Lord knows I have all of Liyah’s CDs, The Best of Both Worlds (a gift and only cuz I love Jay-Z), etc. But as for R. Kelly himself…Never bought a CD, NEVER WILL. Wish he’d drop off the face of the Earth…

Ofentimes journalists have to sacrifice tough questions for the exclusive. R.Kelly and his handlers knew that by agreeing to only one interview they could negotiate the terms in their favor. It’s supply and demand, when supply (in this case R.Kelly’s one interview) is minimal and demand (curiosity and requests from other stations) is high, the price (terms) get inflated…and Kelly and his handlers knew he could get away with certain things at BET versus a big network anchor or news show because BET is not used to get exclusives and most of their personalities are not really as recognized. Toure is well-known but mainly for his writing. Kellz would definitely not have been able to pull some of that **** with Diane Sawyer or the Arab guy who interviewed Michael Jackson.
In my opinion, I would let it go. I don’t understand why it’s all of a sudden a big deal that a man is sleeping with a 16 year old girl. That goes on in my neighborhood all day every day. I’m not saying it’s right, im just saying that people need to stop acting so brand new. And as far as i am concerned 19 year olds are grown enough to know right from wrong. Hell i was hollering that i was grown at 18, so I dont see a problem with that. It’s anything younger than 18 that i have a problem with. Karma is a beyotch and no matter what people do or say to R kelly, it will never be as bad as what karma will do. AND if Flex was really sincere in his words of disgust he would’ve gotten in touch with R Kelly and told him himself.

He was found innocent, becuase they could not verify the age of the girl, one of the jurors stated “no doubt it was Robert”. Flex you may be outta of job….
He wasn’t found innocent. He was found not guilty. There is a difference.
What amazes me is that less than 5% of what happened in the court room was exposed to the public. There is still a gag order with instructions to arrest on this case. The people who know what happened in that room will not say. Some are assuming that because R did not go to jail, no arrests were made. He was not the only one on trial. There will be innocent or guilty theories until our last days, because regardless of what people saw or think they saw, only 3 people really know what happened. It is time to move on people. I heard on a radio show that less than 8% of African-Americans are registered to vote. Why don’t me move some of this energy to do something about that before we all end up picking cotton, because Senator McCain wants to do away with the Bill Of Rights. How about that for a HOT TOPIC!!!!!!! Register to vote and take or tell your friends. If we all get together to do that then maybe just maybe we can save ourselves and our children.

I wonder what else Flex saw/knows that prompted him to say this on tape. I think Flex’s conscience (guilty) or something else other than a silly interview prompted him to do it.
Personally I don’t listen to R.Kelly and I have extended that to people who continued to work with him after that huge exposee by the Sun in 02. Joe, T-Pain, Usher and even now TI, Won’t get a dime of my money, for continuing to financially support this pedophile. I don’t know how their conscience allows them to do it, it’s not like this is even the first or second time. he has settled two sex suits in the past, plus he married Aaliyah when she was 15, then this sex suit. @Bird. R. Kelly does have two daughters and he’s still married to Andrea, so I don’t know that there is grounds to barr him from seeing his children.
Actually I read something that suggests Kelly is grooming his daughters to be molested. Something about bringing them out to dance on top of a piano during a get together. This same person who put that out says that his wife doesn’t have free reign in her house and is banned from whole parts of their home and has to knock before entering any room when he’s around. I have also heard that he also molests little boys as well. With everything you have to take it with a grain of salt though because people will quickly try to demonize someone.
But when that dude started calling himself pied piper… I knew he was just throwing his pedophillic ways in our faces. I mean why would you name yourself after a fairy tale of a man who lured CHILDREN away with music.
If your sentences all start with I heard, then you are probably gossiping. As for the person who started the rumors about his wife, that came from Sparkle and a few others. She has never even seen his children, nor been in his home of the last approx 8 yrs now. Come to think of it, she has not seen her own niece she is so worried about in about 6 yrs. A lot of people talk as if they have been eyewitnesses to alot of things, but those are fairy tales. There has been some major lying and it is not coming from Kelly camp. That is not what people want to hear or believe but it is what it is. A few of the witnesses for the prosecution never even met Kells, but they gave some good stories.
Good thing only one of my sentences starts with I heard.
They’re several facts that many people choose to ignore, all these facts point to this man being a pedophile.
Fact - He settled two suits in the 90’s brought against him by minors.
Fact - He married Aaliyah as a minor. He knew her since she was 12, so he knew her real biological age
Fact - He was on tape having sex with a clearly underage girl. The tape was authenticated, so there’s no way it was faked, or digitally altered.
The prosecution not making their case, lack of cooperation from the victim, people lying against him, gossip etc. don’t take away from these facts.
RE: His wife Andrea, lodged abuse complaints and gotten protection orders against him, so Sparkle, as you say, may not be completely off.
