Jayz self-proclaimed himself as the best rapper, no one else ever gave him that title. He started shouting himself out in his songs, saying he’s the best rapper, and people bought into it, hook, line, and sinker.

I’m with you though, i never understood why people bought that load of bs. Kanye did alot of the beats he’s popular for, and his flow has always been wack in my opinion. He stops mid verses, and always seem a bit out of breath. Not to mention he stole numerous lyrics and claimed them as his own from biggie! He tried to steal Nas’s flow, but got called out for it…but i swear people are so dumb when it comes to him. But to each their own. He’s no better of a rapper than ludacris, t.i., and LL. And Nas and DMX shyts all over him IMO…

DMX and Jayz already had a rap battle according to DMX. He said back in the day, he and Jayz and their peeps met up at a secret location outdoors (i’m guessing somewhere in the hood) and had a rap battle. This was while the two of them were on the verge of becoming stars, they were coming up, but not yet known to the masses; however on the underground circuit, they were tops.

DMX said in his opinion, there was no competition, and everyone was saying DMX won the battle. However, jayz’s people was trying to call it a draw, but the people were definitely feeling DMX more. I believe DMX’s story, cause Jayz never responded to that interview. And why was Jayz’s people calling it a draw; thought he was the best rapper? If anything, i would have said i won, not it’s a draw!

LOL…DMX said it got so hype and real during the rap battle, that their boys was pulling guns and shyt…wow.

I’m with u on this one. He may not be your favorite rapper if your under 25, but he has been the MOST consistent artist with putting out hot records for almost 9 years in a row. You may not like the fact that he married Bey, or the fact that his business swagger is undeniable. But we all know that he killed that show overseas and now this clown is trying to build on that success.
