I take back everything I said about Morris Chestnut
In an earlier post, I questioned why hunky actor Morris Chestnut showed up at industry events without a woman on his arm.
Well, I’ve just been informed that Mr. Chestnut is a devoted family man whose wife of over 10 years, Pam Byse, is home grown from a small town right here in Georgia.
The happy couple have 2 children (maybe 4), and Pam used to work for a living before she married into money.
In fact, top radio jock Ryan Cameron (Ryan Cameron Show, V-103) gave Pam her first job way back in the day when he was the manager of a record store in Carrolton, GA. Pam and Ryan attended the University of West Georgia together.

I heard that a couple of months ago, but he said on the Ryan Cameron show that it was just a rumor, and that him and his wife are happily married.

Damn. It looks like he made those kids by himself. I’m happy to hear the divorce was just a rumor. I sometimes forget that blogs are for entertainment purposes only and definately not a reliable source of information.
Adding on what Kym said, Morris probably makes waaaaay more money than us, but he’s far from being the richest brotha in Hollywood. I’m sure they live a comfortable upper middle class life.

I really like Morris. I’m glad to see that he and his wife are doing well. I wish he’d get moving with his movie career. I really enjoyed him in Best Man and Two can Play that Game.
