It seems Sen. Barack Obama is almost as absent minded as Sarah Palin. At a recent press conference, Barack couldn’t remember if he was married for 15 years or 16. So he said 15 because I guess men love round numbers.
But unfortunately he was wrong. They’ve been married 16 years.
Poor Michelle had her staff send a press release to all the media outlets correcting her husband.
How embarrassing.
I’ve never been married, but if I was, there is no way I would forget such a momentous occasion in my life.

that type of thing is not uncommon, especially for men, I know i forget sometimes how long me and my man have been together. I wouldn’t be embarrassed about that at all.
Being that he’s on his way to the white house we’ll forgive him, he can make it up to Michelle after they move in that white mansion..I mean shyt, the man has a lot on his mind it’s understandable that he slipped, he was only off by one year.
This is not a biggie to me. Hubby was asked by my sis in law how long we have been married, he asked me and we both said 10 yrs. It has been 11. Time flies when your having fun.
Well he did admit to smoking Weed, so that could be the reason for the memory lapse…and then again- the man is on the road in a lot and is sleeped deprived.
Oh please…I am married and my husband can barely remember where his azz is much less the number of years to anything…!! This is NOT that serious!

Well I know being together and being married is one thing.My mom forgets sometime how long she know my dad with my dad most of the time and they happily been married going on 31 years (OCT 7!).Talk about how long numbers aren’t that important especially when you been married for so long.

It’s no big deal about Barak being on year off on the date of his nuptials. It’s like a mother of 3+ kids and she can’t remember all of thier birthdates when asked, she may come a few days shy of the correct date but it does not mean her kids are not important to her. He’s got so many other things on his mind. Michelle had no problem sending a correction for those who bring attention to small stuff such as yourself. Good grief!!
