J.D., owner of HipHopUpdate blog spotted T.I. and his artist Big Kuntry walking around greeting fans outside the Virgin MegaStore in Times Square yesterday.
Both T.I. and Kuntry’s albums dropped on Tuesday. T.I.’s album, Paper Trail, will top the charts next week with over 500K in sales. Kuntry’s debut CD, My Turn To Eat, will do decent sales with his disc on display in stores right next to T.I.’s.
The guys greeted fans asking them to, “go inside and buy our albums.” That sent fans dashing inside the store.
J.D. snapped the above pics of the rappers interacting with fans. The surprise was that T.I. did this without security and without label people barking at fans.
T.I. wasn’t inside the store behind a table signing CDs — he was outside connecting with the fans, taking pictures, signing autographs and signing CDs.
What a novel idea: a Superstar rapper connecting with the fans on an interpersonal level.

I couldnt tell if the girl got kicked off our not I mean they cut the dam episode off so fast I couldnt tell was she trying to argue, plead her case, or what….but u aint the only one..to me she was the only one with the experience, she was a go getter, and had the gift of gab…those are what you need to work in that type of industry. Its Diddy’s loss! She was the only contestant on the show with enough skills to qualify for the job, she was a go getter thats why it was so natural for her to take control of every challange all she wanted to do was show them what was capable of. If she can think before she speaks, instead of saying the first thing that comes to her mind, SHE WOULD BE MY CHOICE. Just because you are bossy doesn’t mean you deserve to lead. No one on that show likes her except the judges. She doesn’t know how to talk to people. The saying goes…you can attract more flies with honey, than with vinegar! I strongly believe that she would alienate herself from the rest of his employees and would get fired any way.
Successful people don’t get where they are by making people hate them!
Also, while it may not be politically correct to say this, however, her appearance is a hindrance for her. She dresses herself nicely, I’ll give her that. I actually think she is pretty. I admire her confidence as well.

I’ll admit that I didn’t take that part of her character into consideration. Yes she deserves the job for her work ethics but personality wise she wouldn’t have a chance on his team. They have Diddy to deal with already, they would not tolerate her attitude at all. Then again is it possible that Kim went so hard on the show so that she would stand out from the others, who knows she’s probably just trying to WIN. True, she shouldn’t talk down on her team mates, but she’s 40 years old, she actually knows the business (maybe not the industry completely, but more than the others) and you have to know its hard to work with people who don’t know what they’re doing or what the hell they’re talking about. You can’t help but take over, its either you lose the challange and follow this amateur whose going to eventually get you eliminated or you are going to GET THE JOB DONE and let them complain about you taking the initiative to do what was asked. What type of person would you want to work for you? Somebody whose looking to blame someone else for their failures or someone who will take the risk and make a dedicated effort to make sh*t happen? Thats what it comes down to. Trust If Kim was blessed with the opportunity to work for Diddy she would be a big FAT asset..LOL! She would know not to come at experienced Diddy assistants like the other wanna BEs on the show, she would have to learn from them…ya feel me?
